Beautiful! I tried a little on canvas just to get the idea. It didn’t go too well but I quickly saw what I was doing wrong. Hoping to do an old wine bottle soon. Thank you so much for this demo!!

This was just the project I was looking for! your explanation was clear and your demonstration was very well done. But I especially liked it when you said “it doesn’t need to be perfect “ or “If the dots accidentally touch, it’s no big deal”
This put me much more at ease with this project.

I have been trying this on the same bottle about 7 times, l have spent more time cleaning the paint off the bottle because I haven't been happy with what I had done so far but I am not giving up! I will do this with practice and get the result l want! After all, all l am doing is good practice! Lol 😂

Beautiful! I love doing dot art painting! I do rock painting and enjoy doing it and giving the rocks away to friends and family. I put short inspirational quotes on the back and seal them with a spray clear coat so they can go inside or outside and not lose the paint. Once you start doing dot art, you can't stop! I find it highly therapeutic.

Lydia, I really appreciate you and the time you took to make this video. Sending you a big and hearty THANK YOU! I have been looking for AGES for some type of tutorial to learn how to do dot mandala painting, on a bottle, no less! Been saving up all those unusual shaped bottles! I’ve watched your video many times, studied your design, gathered all my supplies and gave it a stab yesterday. I think in time, the bottles will look lovely, even gift worthy, but for now I need to work on spacing with consistency. You are wonderful!

I just recently got into dotting. It is very addicting but in a happy way, and I am glad you have had sometime to yourself for doing something for you, always important. The bottle is lovely, cant wait to try one. I first did canvas' , then mugs and now vases and now I can look forward to doing bottles. Thank you for sharing your love of dotting and your talent. Which is huge, I have learned so much from you. I know how hard it is to be a single mom, as I was once one too. Three teenage boys, holy moly right? Hang in there, your doing awesome. :)

How is it possible that you have any thumbs down 👎 my goodness this is absolutely BEAUTIFUL. I’ve always wanted to learn how to do this type of art and now after watching your video I’m definitely going to try it. How long and what temperature should the bottle be baked for? Also, what do you do if you accidentally rub your finger or hand through it? Or do you do each color and let it dry? How can you clean it and start over? I’ll be subscribing and look through your online store. You did say you had patterns or stencils correct? Thank you for sharing your amazing talent...
