And it was only there for farmers in that area to fuel their tractors and cars. That area at one time was solely owned and farmed by one family and covered a few thousand acre's. Keep up the great work & the wheels on the ground ! Wes Coleman
I'm glad i found your video, I've had my eye on a TR650 but didn't know much about it besides all the mag reviews. your video put my mind as ease. you know what your doing and your a true adv rider. i went and bought mine in April. i know the future may be up in the air with BMW's sale of husky to KTM but it didn't matter at all to me. I LOVE IT (also got the Wolfman peak tail bag and enduro tank bag. Very nice American made products)
Great Video & remake of the music! I'm working on an '09 Drz400s and have been motivated by your Adventures in DS. Thanks for sharing your knowledge, experience and expertise in your photo's, video's and commentary. As I read along with your pics, I ride along as well. In one of your latest rides "Retirement ride, Tennessee TAT, & TET" You stopped at an old Sunoco gas station, made of River rock. That was 5 mile south of my home. I live in Goodsprings, Tn. The station is in Dentville
Great video. I ride a Guzzi, but it's purely a road bike. I've been looking at the Terra for awhile now, and if I can afford it... the Terra may become my secondary road bike to compliment the Guzzi! My wife and I enjoyed your singing!
Thank´s for that great Video! What a beautiful scenery - it´s a dream of mine travelling around the USA by motorcycle! Especially the culture and the way of life of the southern states seem to be so fascinating to me...! You´ve given a good survey about the Terra - it´s the first Video here doing so!!! It might be a real alternative to my 885i Triumph Tiger which is a great touring and traveling motorcycle on the road. Any ambition going offroad with it fails because of its heavy weight ;-/
The new Husky looks awesome...I'm jealous! It may be a bit on the heavy side, but I guess the key is not to drop it. At least not while you're riding alone!
Jeez Mark, you bought the TR! That is such a cool bike and a great deal. When I first heard of its announcement, I figured the price was a typo! Can't wait to see what you think of it once you get some miles, mods and maintenance on it! Might have to figure out a way to get one.
Great video, I have the 2012 BMW g650GS Sertao, same motor, a little less horsepower, but able to ride just about anywhere. You could sell these for Husky, again nice job. I have a KTM 520 for the rough stuff. The BMW is my SUV, go anywhere, carry anything. There are a bit heavy but doesn't seem to bother me. I have about 11,000 miles on mine about 3000 has been dirt. Great fun. If the Husky would have been available I might have bought it instead, $2000 less, that's a lot of money.
THANKS for making this video, Mark! I'm always interested to hear your opinion on new bikes. You have ridden a lot of bikes a lot of miles so I respect your opinion. I wonder how this Husky Terra 650 stacks up to the new KTM 690. LOVE the Husky's price!
G'day big fella, Enjoyiing your vids, good work. I am thinking about selling my road bike (KTM 690 Duke) and getting either a DR-650 or Husky 650 Terra. Less traffic and cops etc, Suzuki is cheaper and I hear bullet proof but dog ugly. The Husky is better looking, has more power, but I am a little worried about reliability and cost of parts? I really don't know much about them, or know anyone with one. Wondering if you have had any breakdowns, dramas etc. or if all good? Thanks Glen
I am seriously thinking about buying the Terr 650 but no one in Phoenix, AZ sells this bike. Phoenix is like the 3rd largest city in America and no one sells this bike here unless you drive to Tucson which is a long drive from Phoenix.

You can’t put oil this video! Great hosting , Terra 650, and that “sultans of swing “ rendish is a killer!!!👍👍👍🥂🥂🥂👏👏👏
Great video mate. Especially loved your Dire Straits parody at the end. Good guitar playing.
This is ONE and ONLY video on YT that gave me info about Terra. Great.
