literally just change to all meteors to blue and if 4 purple and 5 yellow. I don't get it?
There are actually a few tells.
Lumine Constellation at the start means you got a 4 or 5 star Character. No Cons means no Char
then at the end, the meteor is gold if you got a 5 star but blue otherwise

Thats what happened in hi3d, all gold everytime you got a character even tho a & b rank, later dev changed it to purple for a b rank, and then people complained, The excited feeling for getting something random (all rank) character in gold is gone 😂😂

This is interesting! The "press the screen to *pray at the stars*" has some lore implications, as well as the Traveler's constellation showing up at the beginning of the wishing animation. The environment in which the "wishing" occurs is also mysterious. I wonder how those are connected to the characters' constellations and Teyvat's fake sky? However, I'm glad they changed the rest of the animation because a) the rushing toward each item in the gacha pull gives me vertigo, and b) the character just showing up in the middle of the screen like🧍is anticlimactic lol.
traveler twin -> falling stars -> wishing upon a shooting star
doesnt seem to have any other connotation other than that, and no Honkai lore to speak of either (if they're in the same universe)
the traveler seemed to come into being as a realized wish made by someone from Teyvat, no idea who or why.
v2 actually fixes the Vertigo issue

@@nekori_adrian I’m not super deep into the Genshin/Hoyoverse lore so my first comment might be inaccurate, but for lore analysis and speculation, I highly recommend Chill With Aster, Ashikai, and My Name For Now. Chill With Aster has an interesting (albeit old) video on the canonicity of wishing titled “The Fates of the World is the Traveler’s to Reweave”, which is what prompted me to leave my first comment. Hope that helps!
CBT wishing animation + final versions' splash art style = perfection.
Also, it seems that they have voicelines when they get the character in this one, which was now implemented on Version 4.6.

This looks interesting but the current one is much better (understandable since its the final product, so it is always more polished). But i wouldnt mind if they come back to this concept later in the future updates and make it better, the falling stars animation remind me of their ost album cover

The final screen after everything you pulled has been displayed is basically HI3. It would not really matter I think if that's going to be in the final build, but I really appreciate Hoyo making changes to the presentation. Basically showing to players (especially those who has played HI3) that they did not just copy paste the UI and call it a day.
Ngl I actually prefer old HI3 gacha UI, the current one feels a bit un polished

I honestly prefer this over the current one, pressing a button to "pray at the stars" is a really cool concept, would've been cool if the constellation that lights up is for one of the character's constellations that you'll get (I see why they didn't do that though cause that'd be a pain to code).
The beginning parts awesome but the cycling between what you recieve makes me dizzy

The animation when the items/characters appear looks super similar to summoning skylanders in those games. It’s kinda giving me an odd bit of nostalgia.

The amount of effort they put into this... This just proves they really did wanna make an impressive game back then and had the means to do it, but it all went to star rail.

♦️ I love the galaxy touch but the misleading pull color thinking there is a 5 star and also the characters looking like confused models standing up right there feels weird lol. The way the meteor pull just falls to the ground kinda looks weird too. I feel like not knowing where it goes is better, I'm glad they changed it. At least you won't know Qiqi dropped hard on your pulls. Nah jk, I love Qiqi, she's cool.

The animation is truly "wish" for your desired items, and the portraits in the splashscreen are actually good but stil have to fix more. But the characters animation were too boring for me.
I notice that Amber and Barbara's model in the two Genshin videos are different form ingame. Hope that they do something with these models in the wish animation like in ZZZ... It would be insane if they do this in patch 5.0.

@@elaina379 current one is perfect,it needs no change,it isn't a racing game ffs. Gacha games should have Splash arts, although some like ZZZ are fine with theirs. If you throw away splash art then your wishing animation should be very creative like ZZZ and not this dull stuff like a star falling for 3d introduction.
