Thank you for the video and great to see a fellow South African keen to grow these. Ive exclusively grown them now for 15 years now. Though I no longer live in SA, I grew these little gems with great success outdoors in Johannesburg. Growing in Moss is the best, however, there needs to be a hollow core in the centre of the moss mound. Winter care is crucial for these guys, dry bright and cool in winter!! They can easily take temps down to zero with no issues. The can survive with little moisture over these months, and only need an occasional mist every week to prevent excessive dehydration, cooler temps and wet moss invariably lead to rot. Summer, keep damp, warm and shaded. Air flow is crucial with them and they appreciate as much airflow around them as possible. You would get away growing these outdoors year round in Cape Town as long as you can keep the winter rain off of them. In fact, I've grown them outdoors in Cork, Ireland for the last year with no issues. Please feel free to contact me, I have a ton of resources and info to share and sites to visit to learn more.

That is very interesting. I have a little neo that refuses to grow. I am in the south of England and wonder whether to try it outside or at least in the greenhouse.

Looking great! I also have the Cherry Blossom, I set it back unfortunately by trying to pot her in semi hydro and she didn't like it. It's on the mend though and recovering. Always enjoy your videos 🤗

@@OrchidsFynbos awesome! I actually have the Renantanda Sunrise, she's quite young still, but I hope to get blooms within the next year or so. Vanda Greenlight is another primary hybrid (v. Falcata x v. Vietnamica) . I thought I bought this one and it was mislabeled and I got the parent Vanda Vietnamica instead, so I'll eventually also add this one.
That Vanda cherry blossom is really pretty with superb bloom colour and shape. Is it scented? I got myself a Neofinetia recently, it’s smaller than your keikii, I have a long wait ahead for flowers 😂
