The larger plant looks like a very nice young plant which will need a lot of room in 10 years time. I know it sounds like a long time but trust me it will arrive before you have realised. They hate for their roots to be disturbed so you really should transplant the plant including the pot into a much larger one.......that's my opinion. Thanks for the video and take care, Ed.
You are looking so springy in your short sleeved bird of paradise shirt!! 🤩 Meanwhile I am sitting at my desk pushing my luck with open doors and flip flops, and am getting cold feet 🙄those images... yikes! They make me look forward to seeing blooms for real again and smell them while I work at night. So happy to see that both of your's are doing great 👍🏼now... let the grow begin! Thank you so much for taking the time to do this video, including ASMR 👍🏼👍🏼 Awesome!!
Thanks Nina 😊🙏 haha sounds like me… just bought my seasonal pair of Havaianas this week. It signals the start of the warm seasons for me. It’s still a little cold 🥶 but I’m also pushing it. Sometimes wish I had me some Afrikaner genes - they wear shorts and flip flops right through winter without getting cold. Lols Stevie loves ASMR so always gets me to slip in a few scenes here and there 🤣
i didn't think the larger needed to be repotted at all...looks like it needs to be watered more..or maybe humidity..i wouldve just place it into an larger pot and filled in..It is already already a nice plant.glad it survived the crown rot..thanks for sharing.Good luck!
Hi, good job and information. Now you make me want to get one to try out , my ears perked up when you said less than Cattleya light and like Miltonia light conditions😀. Enjoy growing your orchids. Take care.🌸
Oh no Digna 🙈 I think it took about a month or two but sometimes if the rot is not too bad it can still continue growing from the crown. Hope it all works out🤞🏻🙌🏻
You live in south atmosphere, right? Is it becoming growing season there? If so then maybe repotting is ok? I think I missed my chance. I will wait for next spring for repotting…. And that is IF I decide to do so… I might just “up-pot” and don’t even mess with old media…

Thanks for the tips Ed, appreciate it 😊🙏. Going to take your advise on the transplant when the roots become active. Happy growing and keep well 🪴🌱
