Ok… this will be a bit tedious AND time consuming but hopefully less painful! For ‘Firefly’ try doing your full cross 2 over 1 with only one strand😮 Do one leg of the cross twice, then the top leg twice. This means that you will only be carrying (and parking) only one strand, which will reduce the bulk on the back while keeping the look of your project consistent. Painful time wise? Yes! But which is the lesser of the two pains? Hope this helps!😉
Thank you for watching and for your advice, I never even thought of this I’m going to keep this in my pocket for if this attempt at thinning the back doesn’t work! Also thinking this would work for high confetti areas. ☺️
I love your No Time Like the Present; it's looks so nice with the colors you chose! ❤ I have the same problem you're having with Firefly. I'm using a really sharp needle. I think it's actually a darning needle. And it's skinnier than my normal ones. It seems to be working. Good luck! 😊
Thank you! I was so worried that it wouldn’t look as good as it did in my head but I love it now I see it. That’s such a good idea I might change needles again if it continues to be a problem, thanks for watching and also giving me a new idea 🫶🏻
Thank you for watching ☺️ I think if you’re doing 1/1 it wouldn’t be as bad or if you have a project that doesn’t have as many colours. It’s definitely a fun way to stitch and I would recommend i’d just put thought in to the pattern you choose 😊

@@headinthebooks904 You're welcome! 😊
Love your projects! I’ve wanted to try royal rows but had the same apprehension about the thickness!
Thank you for watching ☺️
