- We've learned some good lessons about RV camping. In this episode we take a walk from Morro Bay State Park to the town of Morro Bay along the harbor walk. Then we visit the beautiful Pinnacles National Park and discover one of the best camp sites we've ever seen.

I agree that the site you're in can make or break your experience at a campground. We just switched spots at a campground today for the first time, not because our spot was terrible but we found a way cooler spot lol.

We stayed at Pinnacles National Park at the end of October. The weather was perfect. You are right about campsite choice. Sometimes just one site over makes a difference. You might try looking at campsitephotos.com. It is great for seeing what a site looks like before you get there. Not all campgrounds are covered, but an amazing number have photos of the campsites.
My parents favorite place to travel too was Morro Bay. They would stay at the famous Madonna Inn and fresh eat seafood the whole trip!!

Who said you need a playground to have fun. I grew up in the country and I played on big rocks and trees and walked the old logging roads with my dog. (who also walked out to the bus stop in the morning with me) and had a great time. Saying all that though I had to haul wood for the wood stove and weed the garden and well country things lol. Pretty sure Half Dome and the whole Yosemite valley was carved out by glacial activity.

If you have the opportunity to review a map of a campground before you reserve a spot, you might have luck picking better spots.
Yes! Learned that the hard way this time... But we lucked out that there were still good ones open.
Sorry but I am having to unsubscribe. While I like you and your family I would like to see more on the journey and less one person monologue.
