I love how you described Narcisso Rodregez poudre. Kissing your grandma. Playing dress up and yet there is a slight woody note too. I am not a musk fan but Narcisso does it right.
Safari by Ralph Lauren reminds me of my mom... every one of my newborns (4) smelled of their Mimi whenever she was nearby. Quelques Fleurs has been my husband’s favorite for 32 years and still stops him in his tracks to this day to come and kiss me when he catches a whif of it. Ysatis takes me back to high school, as do Anais Anais and Obsession. Private Collection also takes me back to happy times years ago. And I even recently bought Youth Dew because I was craving a rich cola scent to add depth for mixing ... I have many more current loves too, but these vintage ones are precious to me❤️. You described my late mother's lifetime scent, Shalimar, so beautifully. Almost brought tears in my eyes, tears of missing her and all the memories. She passed away 1,5 years ago. My most emotional scent at the moment is Jo Malone Wild Bluebell. The scent I remember from my childhood summers, and I still smell it when I go for walks. It's so natural.. Five O' clock Au Gingembre -SL comes to mind. It reminds me of when my mom in her 30's wore Opium as her signature scent. In 2021 this is my version of Opium.

You are so blessed to have such a view to nature, that is my dream!!!😊🥰 I can so relate to this video as I'm a walking emotional creature lol and for me, everything is an emotion and evokes emotion, especially fragrance! Case and point: I am a widow of six years, and I recently recalled, and went searching online for this beautiful scent, that when my Hubby was alive, he loved so much on me... It was Avon's Mark Self Sanctuary Line they had out at the time, I believe in the early 2000s. But my absolute fave in that line, was one called: Fig Basil. For each scent, had a full set that included a body mist, body milk, body wash, body sorbet, and body polish. I remember trying the body mist and the body polish. It's long since been discontinued but I was lucky enough to find a few Merchants on Ebay who still sell some products from this line, but it's so much more expensive now! 😢 None the less, I recently purchased the Body Sorbet in Fig Basil, as the body mist was just too much for the size it comes in. But omgosh, when I received it the other day, I could not wait to open it, and as soon as I did, that ol familiar beautiful scent, just evoked such beautiful emotional memories of my late Hubby, Chris, and how much he loved this scent whenever I wore it...It is amazing how a scent can just instantly tie one back to a special time, a person, a memory, a moment...Thank u Josephine, and thank God for the power of fragrance...🥰🌹

Aqua Allegoria Angelique Noir, is one that brings comfort to me , remembering good times with my husband and son, on vacations, I wore it when the weather was warm, so it is the perfect Spring and Summer perfume for me.

Another wonderful video. This one is special. I feel very similar about my fragrances...some I feel more deeply than others. PS: Your hair looks pretty. Did you dye/tone it? :) Still figuring out what to do with mine. :) My fragrances: Estee Lauder Youth Dew: My mother and grandmother- both who raised me, wore this fragrance. It connects me to them now that they have left this Earthly realm...Estee Lauder's White Linen. My first intense love affair- He loved this and it made me feel elegant when I wore it...desired yet distant- polarity - like the relationship. YSL Opium the original...Wore it during senior year of high school and seemed to always receive compliments. Still love this one and wear it during colder months. Sweet Honesty (Avon)- one of two fragrances I wore after my daughter was born. It brought me back to my own childhood and it comforted me during those early, lonely days of new motherhood. Shalimar Cologne- given to me as a gift after I had my daughter from my beautiful grandmother. This was the other fragrance I could wear - that didn't make me sick after giving birth. It made me feel like myself again. There are more but I'll end here. :)

Ok for me a romantic perfume is houbigant quelche fleur royale it’s warm creamy it’s like a hug in a cashmere sweater very cozy perfume . On other one is Delina exclusive makes me feel very romantic sitting on a beach having dinner candlelight and the breeze from the sea caressing my hair this scent reminds me of evenings like that ❤😊
Je Reviens, the perfume of a long ago spring in Warsaw, Rive Gauche I smelt on my sister when seeing her again after many years and which still brings about the feeling of wild excitement and joy.

Wow! I’ve never seen your videos before and I was subscribed within the first minute of this video! My two most emotional perfumes are both by Jo Malone. Wood sage & Sea Salt gives me the most emotional experience of anything I’ve ever smelled! I’m not sure if it’s because I have lived my whole life on a small foggy Canadian island and this scent gives me ocean vibes? 🤷🏻♀️ LOL ..but there’s something about the muskiness of the ambrette seeds that makes me feel life very deeply. Dark amber & ginger lily is the other one, and I just feel so blessed to have been able to smell something this beautiful ✨🙏🏼 Out of the fragrances mentioned in this video, I only own one, the NR poudrèe.. it so comforting (although I also own the Ambrèe cube and love it even more) Poudrèe makes me think of cake batter! My husband loves it on me 😁
