Idk why as a caustic main I enjoy watching people tell me stuff I already know XDDD like I know all of this but it feels great when people tell me what I'm already doing probably cause I'm like HEY I DO THAT
Caustic main here: biggest thing to master is the ultimate, it can make or brake your game
I have had multiple fight were people did not heal their hp so I have wipe trios with just a toss of a gas nade

I'm I the only one who plays octane and watches this to fight castics and most of the time it works now
I feel like the people that use caustic are the people that Have been using him for like ever and got really good with him
Nah as an ex caustic main i see often the opposite. Many just dont use the full potential of the maximum amount of active traps (good to detect enemies especially to cover ur back for 3rd parties) and never place some on good spots like vertical ziplines where u could basically one clip the enemy b4 he realizes the gas. I engage so many on open places where u can instantly knock them down though their large hit box. As a caustic ur strength shows on close range with covers. Using some smg will be much more reliable than camping and sniping
He helped me get to Diamond so yeah pretty powerful legend if used properly, and excellent for farming damage
I think thats ramparts walls blocking his smoke is a really cool feature that I need to use more often, since I'm a rampart main
I had never noticed that, I'll keep an eye out for it now
Even gibbys dome can block his gas I wonder if newcastle can do the same I didn't know this until I watched these videos and tips
@@magicnebula5398 newcastle tactical shield will block some of the gas if you stand on the inside of it, not sure about the ult though
@@CHAOSMartin the ult blocks some of it I believe I’ve tried it and he wasn’t taking damage but try it out :)
I think the most underrated thing about caustic is his ability to not be stunned by shots. He has a bigger hit box but can slide down mountains and run unimpeded. Makes his movement skills competitive with top units

That door tip is helpful I always put the traps on the side the door opens to bc I thought the enemy would shoot it through the windows or see it before they come in
They do actually😂
The trap behind the door is actually good positioning coz the enemy will most likely try to leave the building after the trap is active and you have more time to shoot him while he/she has no cover
This is amazing because I’m getting him as my next legend! (Yes I still don’t have Mirage, Horizon, Wattson, and Caustic)

I only got seer octane and vantage just started in szn 13 and was never really into the game until now even though I saw vids and tournaments even the trailers here and there but never knew it was from this game I'm on the grind to unlock everyone and get a free heirloom next I'm going for wattson Valk and horizon

One of the most annoying to fight but sometimes love having on your team to lockdown areas
The dopamine rush when you see a full squad trapped in a building, you throw that gas greneade and watch how they squirm as you trap them with more gas traps.
Caustic is just as good as all the skirmishers, he is just thicc af
Main thing people don't get of Causthicc, is that he is no different than a Skirmisher, he is a close range specialist he should always be the bullet sponge going in shooting everyone up close
People need to stop playing him so defensively, because he excels in agressive gameplay

Is there one of these for bloodhound? My cousin mains bloodhound and I want to see if there's a tip he's missing so he can improve
Bloodhound is the most brain dead legend. Just learn when the scan range will be most effective and ALWAYS go in ult when u hear a bh ult nearby. U have to give the team as many information as possible so the enemy wont get an advantage (reason why pro players throw their seer ult to "counter" the enemys one). Also dont waste the ult just for the speed boost. Take the opportunity of the shorten cd and scan. Thats it basically. Ideal for roller player tho 😂
@@zeronin4696 you think bloodhound is the most brain dead? Seriously? Ok, what about pathfinder? Caustic? Hell, lifeline and gibraltar. Pathfinder users and mains can't use his abilities right and all they do is rush into combat and full teams. Caustic is just a camper's validation. Lifeline takes to skill to use, you just press a bumper and hope your team stays clumped together long enough to make use of it. And gibby's just a fat guy with a second shield

@@KanyeSouth-tj4cn I know how he's used, and it's not how he's supposed to. But that doesn't stop the fact that literally every person that uses him just hides in a building blocking the doors or blocks you into a building. So maybe it's the fact that you don't know how caustic players think
I always called him “Big Fard”. Edit: I also occasionally call him “Fard Lard”. I know, it’s childish. Though when you roll your r’s, it becomes much funnier.
u forget about use 2 traps like a barrier if u are low & u are healing
