Alvin Stoller.
Wow! A great master from the great days.
One of the rare glimpses of the great Alvin Stoller, the key to the Billy May Orchestra's success.
I'm glad somebody else picked that out too! I loved the drumming work he did with Billy's band!
@@marvinmuonekejazz And Alvin was known to work with Hoyt Curtin in his early years.
It's interesting to me that Peanuts did so many tributes to Benny because as an artist, he was very much his own person who left behind some interesting work. He was also, from a mechanical standpoint, remarkably good. I write this in my recliner after playing/practicing on my clarinet alone in my office at home in the hope being 2% of how good Peanuts was. Just imagine.
Wow! Peanuts Hucko and Bob Havens together again:)
Glad to see there so many videos of Peanuts Hucko paying tribute to Benny Goodman. He has the tone and ideas to do justice to the King of Swing. I also notice that tenor saxist Loren Schoenberg and alto saxist Jack Stuckey are representatives of the last Benny Goodman orchestra which played the 1985 PBS Television special. It's good to see the music has continuity on more levels than one.
Peanuts Hucko - check out the clarinetist with Louis A in Basin Street Blues live in Belgium 1959
Sing, Sing, Sing. Words and music by Louie Prima.

Very nice!
I agree!
Who'd put a dislike on this??
Benny Goodman tribute. Excellent.
How goods that, is Jeff Hamilton the drummer, great stuff.
PEANUTS HUCKO AS CLOSE TO BG TONE AS ANYONE.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but is this the same Peanuts hucko who played with Glenn Miller in his first band? (The band before the one that was made popular)
Notas para él solo de clarinete?😗
