Its like they put all the effort into the character models and ignored improving the gameplay 😣
Yeah they did. Still fights like UFC 4. Their main focus were Graphics and models. Much easier than actually making the game play more realistic.
It feels different then ufc4, less spamming more timing more vulnerability more responsiveness which is very much felt.
It's all about the presentation and no't giving them realistic and distincts animations that looks awkward
Models aren’t even up to date, Johnny walker, Jan looks horrible, cannonier doesn’t have braids, krylov has the same model, almost every model is the same, dustin doesn’t have the shorter shorts or red shorts, it’s the little things that make huge differences

Ufc 5 is starting to look like a mortal kombat type of game. It’s like they’re moving away from realism to more a more arcade style.

I imagine they do but ik elbows and knees have been nerfed quite a lot so it’s probably not gonna be exploited

Francis Ngannou, Tyson fury, Joshua, and Yoel Romero =Removed, And they've added Fedor, MUHAMMAD Ali, and Mike tyson, Leon Edwards (2015), Conor McGregor (2013), Jon Jones (2008) and izzy alter ego.... Hopefully they've got a day 1 patch with some fighters but that's unlikely

Is the game playable now?
No but it goes early access on Monday the 23rd at 6:00PM, Eastern time. This is a pre patch final build that only a chosen few content creators have been given. It’s missing all of the changes mentioned in the patch notes so this isn’t exactly what to expect from the final version.
Same animations, very little effort from EA. This is like something they put together in 6 months.
3 years wasted. Same game with new engine on far more superior consoles. Pure EA lazyness

UFC 2 animations were trash you guys are on crack I swear.
What i really hate about this is how they give every fighter the same Moves Set. They have fighters who NEVER throws spinning backfist throwing spinning back fist and flying knees. I know Jon throws these things, but many fighters do not. I hate when im fighting a fighter who is primarily a boxer and hes throwing spinning backfist and jumping high kicks. The least EA could do is give fighters realistic move sets rather than copy and paste the same move set out of shear laziness.

Man these knockout animations are infuriating me…. 🤬. 3 years they had and they couldn’t even make them more ragdolly or realistic, just the same old stiff movement.

In all 3 of the videos you just uploaded, the Conor, Usman and this one, you never once went for a submission. I was really hoping to see more of that system in these gameplay videos. In the Usman VS Chimaev one there was a very good opportunity to go for armbar from guard but you just got up instead.
No matter anyway the game comes out in a few days.
