I just changed the original starter 2006 Nissan Titan lasted 17 years still working but intermittently click not engaging unless turn ignition couple times which is the solenoid. Anyways I buy from OReilys Auto lifetime warranty used discounts buying online save $50.. $230 total! Add new intake manifold gaskets made in Japan. Remember to clean all the ports and surfaces and vacuum out the center before installing back.. My original alternator still works like new. Plan and do your homework make sure you have the right tools like a breaker bar 18” and some will need mallet or crow bar to work the old starter loose..
Saw a guy on a Titan forum talking about the starter location and he said "This is why I bought a GM." All I could think about was the Cadillac Northstar motor...
That's a reason i always buy my stuff at Oreillys. I changed my started on my titan. And worked perfectly... just sayin i trust more oreillys. Plus it was less then auto zone.. like 85 less... ✌🏽
I enjoy your videos so much that you encouraged me to the engine swap on the honda civic. I'm having some troubles with it but I'm sure it'll all come out good. Thanks for your videos. God bless
@@alltsab thank you. I was putting the engine in on the civic and it was real hard to align the pins and insert them. I ended up smashing them and got the engine out. Gonna get new pins and try again. I watched your video again on the civic and I noticed you didn't reallly have any problems dropping it in so I figured meaby I'm doing something wrong. I noticed my transmission mount the one by the PCM was torn and I noticed on your video that your transmission was straight and mine wasn't so I figured meaby cuz of the torn mount. What do you think?
In the valley of the block I found pliers lol I showed the owner and was like hey someone probably needs those back 😂 don’t ask me how they got there but they were there 😂
How the hell did you bang the starter while trying to start this truck? The starter for 1st gen Nissan Titan is located underneath the intake manifold. I'm calling BS you banged the starter while jumping the battery as you say.
You are wrong my friend the new starter is bad the starter shaft is spin but didn't kicking shoot out to the flywheel. I have to refund the one I got from zone and buy the it work from O'Reilly. Thanks for stop by.
good job.. although replacement of those hoses and fittings. injection wires.. is easy to you and I.. but probably not most people.. it's second nature to reverse the order of disassembly after a while fixing cars... or.. pretty much, anything else.. you are a good tech sir... thanks for sharing
so.. I have the same problem.. here's my thinking.. no strain when the starter works. no voltage drop.. no sounds of mechanical wear, like bad bushings.. it's either in the cable.. or a relay.. and. further investigation reveals a relay on the left side of a relay panel on the left side firewall.. goes out around 100,000 mi... like my truck with 106k... so . Monday we will see.. keep you posted
Just bought a $90 starter from amazon and spent 2 hrs to fix it yesterday. Works like a charm.
Nice

He is taking loose parts without telling us what the parts are that he is disconnecting.
That 14mm in the back is hard to remove
It's nissan...yes it's hard
You didn't installed right, your armature gear is notaligned to the flywheel
