- Every company should look at Granblue Fantasy Summer Fest drama and they will know why giving out a select few rewards is a bad thing lol.

Azur lane does it well. Milestone rewards are global while also doing community engagement with limited but better rewards.
Azur Lane is like the only game that does this correctly imo, they keep it engaging and also give out some actually good rewards, the other games? Eh…
i mean AL making money from skins. But all the current open world gacha games almost no skins.
Brave Nine: Immature
It's a way to engagement farm I guess? Companies put out these things like "retweet to maybe get a sticker" and suddenly a lot more people are sharing round the game. Other than that all I can think of is greedy investors not wanting to give to much out 🤷
Kuro keeps Wuthering my Waves 😂😂😂
I don't follow those game, but from what I'm seeing in the video, didn't the correction happened really fast? If so, one should also not dismiss the possibility of it being engineering drama to make the stunt of "we listened to you".
It's still scummy regardless. What matters is they even THOUGHT to do this
Song: Signal of Abydos (Blue Archive)
Blue Archive is fairly generous when it comes to rewards. Sometimes the developers give out rewards for random things like youtube or twitter subscriber milestones. They usually give out rewards to all the players for livestreams, too, and you don't have to input a code for them unlike Genshin and HSR and those codes only last 1 day... Rewards like these are a good way for developers to earn brownie points with a game's playerbase, but sometimes developers screw it up or do nothing at all for anniversaries & you get the opposite effect.
The 10 pulls to 10 winners was shots fired against hoyo I think, kuro was memeing on that instance
sandy izumo augment
we do know why they do that.... it's probably cause someone somewhere in company told they giving to all = waste of money.
Ah yes the gbf lottery. That was a fun era few years back. And then doubled down on fixing the problem. Which didn't help as a lot of people just ruin their account and never coming back..
having 3 different pull currencies is just ass
Usually, download milestone rewards or special event rewards get distributed to ALL players. The only exception are those who play after the campaign period or those who created their account after a certain date limit. It's always like that in games that I play like Blue Archive, Battle Cats, and even the infamous gacha hell itself, FGO. This is the very first time I've seen games where the rewards are limited to just a handful of people. Whew. That's succs IMO. Why the heck they do that? I know some games that distribute gifts using gift codes that can only be claimed by a limited number of players. But they still give direct rewards for milestone download or special events.
No one in their right mind would say this is a good idea, right?
sorry but when will musashi rerun begin?,thanks
Interesting view on Azur Lane, since I believe they give out stuff for all players ln milestlnes etc.
Competitions of course are a different thing with them also
Isn't it just a typo? Everyone did get 10 pulls, not just "10 winners"
Kuro is trolling 😂😂😂😂😂
I won Wuwa by not downloading lol, sorry for being slightly toxic towards it.
I mean it's an easy way to make people think the reward is more than it is... a lot of gacha players are gambling addicts and many have inflated opinion about their own luck so it's playing into that making the reward chance based I think
Lmao. This is what happens when non-Kuro fans start dealing with Kuro's antics.
We old Kuro fans know that not only they DO LISTEN TO THEIR FANS, but that they are also trolls, in the good way
Dw Kimo-sensei. This was just a PR stunt.
DEVSLISTENED
I dont think its the game devs making these types of decisions
Yep. From my experience of following gacha games and their dev news, the game developer team and the game company management are not the same.
Like in FGO for example, the most iconic game devs vs game publisher company moment is that one time when the game dev team pushes the company to give a free SSR selector for a celebration reward. The devs rep said that they need to "fight" the company's higher ups for a long time to get it approved. And it only happened once in 8 years lol. So in this case, I can say that every stingy or questionable desicions come from the game publisher, not the game devs
Azur Lane does what WuWon't
(Yes, this was inspiration by the Sega campaign Sega does what Nintendon't)
I think brawl stars does a good job at giving free rewards to everybody
It's always charge the most for the least you can give to please the share holders. Dev teams are most likely never to blame in this situations.
It just kinda looks like wuwa is creating drama on purpose to fix it and then turn around and say, Look see guys we are listening to the community.
I know i hate free shit too
Bro didnt watch the video
