I miss Ochanomizu so bad!! When I was 18 through 30ish, I was living in Tokyo. I went to Ochanomizu music instruments street frequently. It was over a decade ago. If you’re living in Tokyo, I hope you enjoy in there. Thanks for this video.
I remember when I was a teen and going to Ochanomizu. I walked into one shop where they had vintage and high end guitars. I was in awe. All I kept thinking is " dont fuggin bump into anything"
Nice, but if you there you should definitely be looking for FGN's and Japanese Fenders.... bit of a waste looking at the MIM and MIA stuff if you Japan itself and buying.
don't be upset with the prices since 109 yen = $1 So just put a period before the last two digits on the price tag and you'll have close to what the US value of the guitar is. 400,000 yen = $4000 USD
No, they are not fakes. If they sold a fake then they would get so shamed and word of mouth would get out in the local community that they are selling fakes. Most of those shops you see in the video has been in operation for years, if not decades. They wouldn't throw that away for a few thousand dollars.
Geez, I've been waiting for the music to end, but it played for the whole video!(((
That was a great tour. Not hurried like in other videos. I can actually see the guitar for more than 1 second.

The "Backgound Music", ffs
I had to mute the sound to watch the vid
Some Weezer riffs there
the background noise in this video is wrong......I will never be back to this channel......
Me in the vintage guitar section: "I could never touch you, I think it would be wrong.."

That background music, reminds me of me when i was 14. Who the hell wants to listen to that ffs?

Sometimes you have to wonder...how can the world absorb so many guitars?
What an profound statement, because you would think, with the saturation of guitars, prices should be much lower
I feel so guitarded right now...

Wish I was there but I know I would never leave.
Love the Nirvana style soundtrack, but being the owner of a Japanese fernandes Stratocaster i would say that.

Awful back round noise.

Had to hit the mute. Worst music ever.

Somebody shut that awful guitar off. That was the worst guitar playing I ever heard.
