Pro tip: You should definitely farm sphere/orb in world 6 bc both salsotto and belobog sets work for Aventurine, either you want him to deal more damages or he's lacking a bit of def
no, belobog set needs effect hit rate which Aventurine does not need unless he's using Gepard's light cone.
I think broken keel works better for him as a support shield
They both work yes. But optimal? Maybe salsotto for a DPS build, but in general he's waiting for a better sustain/support set. I wouldn't spend too much stamina and just use what I can get away with for now.

Once I pull for him, I'm gonna run a non healer team and just go ham. I don't even have a 5 star preservation character yet, so he fits my playstyle.
he works just as well as a healer, different flavor of the same thing
Yeah a sustain is a sustain, healers and shielder all fit under the sustain role, as long as they can keep ur team alive then they do the same thing

Pretty excited for adventurine since I don’t have a 5 star preservation yet and I’ve been using fire MC for Acheron but im kinda conflicted cuz I wanna pull for fu xuan and robin too
Aventurine does really well with Robin/FUA teams. Fu Xuan is still the best pure sustain for safety/comfort.
Fu xuan isn't the best when fight boss such as swarm king synthetic, cocolia, svarog. I test fu xuan to defend team and she is dead. Dot or any blast attack will be no good for fu xuan. Other than that, she will be fine. If I were you, I will gacha aven and robin.
both are really good but i think with the way the meta is currently shaping up to be, adventurine might be the better pick here.
My well built Gepard with 5k def and Sig LC will be benched.

With s1, he will be really good with her. Err makes him spam his ult more meaning more stacks for Acheron and more stacks towards blind debt to proc more fua.

Having a hard time choosing relics for him considering i'll be using him in an all E0S1 FUA team (ratio,topaz,robin) where he’ll benefit from all the different buffs/debuffs, but I still don’t know if thats enough to warrant sacrificing def for crit dmg since everyone has been calling the dmg lackluster.
Guess i'll just have to see what I can get away with in terms of shielding when he’s out tho
also depends on content. For example a place like Golden Gears requires much higher Sustain output than MoC 12, which is more than MoC 11 > 10 > Pure Fiction. You get the Idea. FULL DEF is the most build and forget friendly build, and Crit Dmg is always nice when you're greedy for more DMG in places you can get away with.
What about Clara? Isnt she FUA? From what I understand, aggro isn't much of an issue with an always ulted Clara, she will get the hits most of the time, and when she doesn't, it'll be Adventurine with 2 blind bet stacks. If I can replace Lynx on my Clara team with Adventurine I might pull him. But I also could replace Gepard with him on my Acheron team.
Yea with Clara, it's a nice FUA team options. In this case I would not use any LC with extra Taunt and let Clara take all the heat if possible. For Acheron team it's not a huge improvement over Gepard, since he is the perfect man for Trend of Universal Market. A S1 Aventurine can definitely compete tho
Good guide and good presentation! One thing I disagree with is needing a def chest. Imo not going crit damage is kind of wasting his crit rate passive. At 4k def his shields will still be really beefy, and you'll be able to hit that with 2 mains subs if you use his LC/gepards. 3 main subs if using a 4* cone.

Assuming you can obtain the limited event lightcone Concert for Two, isn't this one of his best F2P options with a high DEF stat and a good defensive AND offensive effect? I'm surprised to see it quite low on your tierlist :o
actually it ain't a free event LC, it's a gacha you have to pull for. At which point it's so hard to have high Superimposition, especially you'll probably keep trying for the signature too.

What about another shop 4* LC with Firefly on the cover? I don't remember the name, sorry, smth about destiny. Is it ok for offensive Aventurin or not? It has really interesting passive i think. It allows to stack def on him and do some dmg at the same time. No? Am i understanding it wrong?
yes I have that in my LC section for offensive LC. It's definitely good for doing more DMG, but with the lower base DEF, it doesn't actually provide the best Shielding.
@@GladiusCC i probably missed it in the video. It's just i have Gepard, he uses March7th lc and i don't really wanna take it from him (until i get his signature). I also has SU shop LC but it's r1 only, it'll take time before i get it to r5. And i have this one from the shop (i believe i got a free copy from somewhere) and i can refine it up to r4 or r5 if needed. And i think that's all i have. I'll get Aventurin' signature on his next rerun (because i believe getting Boothill and his signature is more important, am i right or wrong on this one?). And i'm saving for Gepard LC (i have 350 out of 600),so i'll get that eventually too. But for the time being i don't know what to level up. Either this one 4* (that i can easily refine because i have ton of currency) or 5* from SU but it'll take me several weeks to get to r5.

Is Aventurine good for dot teams? Cause I don't have any limited sustain, only Bailu and Lynx, Gepard is in Acheron's team. Or it's better wait for Fu Xuan/Huo Huo or get Luocha?
for dot teams Huo Huo is more of the meta pick. But Aventurine is on par with the others!

What do you think about building him on 160 speed (in ideal scenario, when he already get 4000+ deffense )? When i tryed him in story-quest, it was a pity that the ally bonus attacks genegated much more than 3 times between his moves (accordingly, Aventurine lost his benefit with Blind Bet).

Isn’t going 4 main stat defence kind of a waste when you can make up for it in subs? And substitute it for extra crit damage
Def% subs are actually the highest among the 3 stats (atk/hp/def). Hp and Atk both have sub rolls of 3.4/3.8/4.4% while defence has rolls of 4.3/4.8/5.4%. Meaning over investing into that stat would lose value and it’s one of the easiest stats to make up for in rolls… am I wrong?
So to optimise damage output you could change to a crit damage body with minimal losses to sustaining. Or am I insane? I haven’t really looked into the character all too much
If u can reach the 4000 def to get the crit rate buff with a cdmg body then yea prob
1000%, go for crit dmg body if you can get 4k def. Honestly, even it's 3.5k def I'd go crit dmg body.
Also matters what relic set you're running but I'm going 4pc pioneer since I'm planning on running him in a acheron/ratio team comp
Depends on what you're looking for really, personal preference. For really invested teams, Aventurine at E0 doesn't offer too much DMG for the crit dmg investment so building pure DEF makes him more comfortable at sustaining. But if you have him at S1 and E2-E6, then I would start building him for more DMG.
I didn't like him in 2.0, but he started growing on me more and more. Before 2.1 dropped, I already felt that doom of knowing that you have to pull for a character but you don't know if you have enough to get them... :') 2.1 just made me want to get him even more. And now I find out that he's even considered meta?
Let's hope I can get a liiiittle lucky, because with each passing day I just want to get him more and more!! :D
I've got enough to try to win a 50/50 but if I lose I think there will be enough jades in the new patch to help me secure him. After that i'll be so broke and hoping to win a Firefly/SAM 50/50 in 2.3.
He's got cool design, which is why I held my urges to go all in on Acheron. Also this much free pulls we got in 2.1... we should be fine... right?

Even though i need limited sustain, i'm probably going to skip and wait for fu xuan. I'm looking to finish my monoquantum team with Qingque, Imbibitor works perfectly fine with fu xuan, so that covers my other half of MOC. And as far as my acheron...i already have gepard who i feel works fine even without trend, and i also have e4 gallagher. I'd rather wait for acherons' future dedicated nihility support than pull aventurine.
So I'm at 65 pity and guaranteed but as f2p player should I get Gerpard LC from shop and sacrifice wishes?
spending wishes on a standard 5 star LC is okay if don't pull on LC banners alot. But if you do, then eventually you might get one. Patience is all you need..

what would be the best recommended all-male team with adventurine? i'm assuming dr. ration would be on there, but i'm unsure how to fill the other two spots. (i know it's difficult without a harmony character, but it's how i like to play.)

Whenever enemies attack aven's team, it will increase his stacks. Harmony and hunt units get high agro. Even destruction got enough aggro. So no problems with "stackings" and trigger FUA.
Just add someone like DR Ratio is enough.
If you not able to build aven's def to 4K, then maybe Gepard sign LC will be good. Other than that, I don't see any point. If aven use gepard sign LC, that means you need to build aven with high crit dmg/imaginary (elemental) dmg. His FUA will deal high damage with that. Yes, his trace got him deal damage but when you add more on his relic set will be quite helpful. It can also be like LUOCHA. Whenever he attack using basic attack and ultimate can cause imprisonment.
That is sooooooo good for Dr Ratio team. Delay and slow the speed.
I will not go for all def just like how I build Luocha and Fu Xuan.

FuXuan is more generally functional + comfortable in sustaining. Aventurine adds extra flare with follow-up attacks thats going to become more META. if you're not someone that wants to optimize FUA teams, it's completely ok to skip him!
E1 S1 Aventurine here I come! .. kinda makes me regret building Gallagher though.. seems Aventurine will replace him in my Acheron teams fully.
for now aventurine goes with Acheron pretty good. But in the future tho he will have his own FUA team and Acheron will have more speciallized Sustain as well. This is temporary alliance =]
@@GladiusCC That's fair.. I spend a lot of time in GnG, so I'm hoping he can replace my Fu Xuan for that content (high conundrums are too hard for Gallagher, unless I got some mega buffs). I have E2 Fu Xuan, so her buffs aren't bad for her but she doesn't add "petals" for Acheron. But thanks for the heads up! I already really like Dr Ratio/Topaz or Topaz/Himeko teams already, so yay for Aventurine!

@@GladiusCCoh absolutely, I got my HuoHuo to E2 for the same reason, now that all the "cheese" runs have been mapped out, it's a bit less needed, but I brute forced my first Conundrum 12 run with E2 IL Dan and had to bring Bailu along for the extra damage reduction and rez, and I used them all, but hey, it was done lol. But even now, if I have a really unlucky run, her E2 can make or break the run.

At E2 yes, otherwise no. Lightcone doesn't change this also.

I am technically going a dps/sustain Aventurine currently my Fire Trailblazer as placerholder has 3k+ defense crit rate 15%~ crit dmg 130 ~ with 2 pc knights 2pc ashes F-U and 2 pc sigonia planetar set ( beacuse its lore accurate lol) it doesnt fully have all the benefits but I am wondering would it provide a good enough sustain and dps at the same time?
Btw i hv Gepard LC too but I might get his LC if I am lucky
If you wanted him to shine as a dmg dealer I highly recommend getting the Signature. Also consider swapping Crit DMG chest to DEF for better sustain! Reaching 4k defense at least is very valuable.

I haver dhil and Acheron and blackswan as DPS. Zero 5 star sustains besides bailu. Can already clear moc not full star..not sure if I should get him or jingliu 😢😮😢
You don't need all the DPS you can get, sustain might not immediately make you full star, but they give you better game experience and for longer. It's more an investment than immediate gratification
How much damage difference between his signature and MoV? I was on the fence on gettting his sig but if its not that much i guess ill save
Sustain wise, it's not an upgrade. DMG wise it's huge 25%+, also team does more.
No crit body is a hot take.
I'm aware. But really pay attention to how shield breaking hurts his DMG as well by losing blind bets. Crit DMG and IMG Dmg does NOT affect how big his shield is.

I am attracted to def scaling considering its flexibility to your hyper carries. My question is will I need him for my account to beat all end game content. I’m waiting for a perfect support for Acheron and for artifacts gods to give me great artifacts. I’m like a very weak end game player rn lol😅. For me my pull priority are sustain>Harmony/Nihility (buff and debuff)>damage.Sustain (especially 5*) can bring you comfort without concerning about dying especially on story mode lol then go for support cuz without support those dps hits like wet noodles and finally of course the dps pull whomever you want with the synergistic support you already have.In the end pull whoever you want and please know what are you doing and future planning etc.Ratio is free for all(till the end of 2.1) so that's covered already lol so supports and sustain are heavily prioritize (if new player or those who don't have a lot in the roster)

Tbh ur cooked if ur waiting for a perfect sustain lol, every time a new sustain comes out the meta changes to be based around them or they have some niche in their kit that makes them better than the previous ones, you’re better off just pulling for whichever one u think will be most universal for your account in the long run
You don't need any specific character to beat all end content. No single character is that powerful. Dont worry about end game it takes a long time to get relics and full teams. Good sustain character are really comfy for clearing content for you especially at lower investment. are you dying alot? Also for Acheron Aventurine is nice for Acheron but not the absolute best as we will get Nihility characters that can heal/shield.
I wish I got Gepard's LC instead of Welt's from my last Standard 10 pull :(

gepard with trend is better for Acheron. Pull Aventurine if you care about FUA meta teams, it's not a must, just nice to have

@@kalshaikh8 only for Acheron. Gepard’s have natural taunt and gets targeted 3x more likely. He is the best user for trend.

I guess his value in non-FUA teams won't be that great in some situations. The one thing that screams "you'll feel pain" is his lack of cleanse. 50% Eff Res is basically nothing IIRC. High level mobs and bosses have what, like, 130-140 EHR? It means your teammates have 80-90% chance to get CC'd/debuffed because it's not (100-50)%, it's (130-50)% or (140-50)% chance. Auramaton will be cancelling your teammates pretty much every turn he uses his caging move. So I think in any CC-heavy situation you'll be in pain. FUA teams are a bit different since they'll be re-stacking shields as crazy, potentially being immortal (unless Aventurine's the one who's CC'd all the time). I think in the future we might see some hybrid characters which include cleanse and might be used together with Aventurine but until then, imo, in some cases he'll have a hard time being solo-sustainer. He's definitely destroying any SU though, even G&G.
i don’t think his 50% effect res are useless most of my character have 20% effect res from the relics so add on 50% effect res that aventurine gave so it’s be total 70% effect res. it’s become valuable. FUA team are only good bcs of is blind bet stack every FUA atk but he basically fit with any team. everytime enemies hit you 7 times he got FUA so i didn’t think it will be pain. furthermore effect res are better than cleanse.

@@txfffy997 , yeah, there are usually some Eff Res substats but even 70% isn't that big given how painful some CCs are. It takes a lot of substats to have a good Eff Res, but here's the catch: getting good offensive rolls are a luck already, and if we add another one mandatory stat to most relic pieces... well, good luck farming it. But yeah, with the amount of AoE I don't think (and definitely don't say) Aventurine will be useless or something like that. I literally said that users might feel the pain in CC-heavy scenarios since he, well, reapplies whield only when he himself is not CC'd. But it kinda fits his gambling style haha.

that much def is not that good why pull for a sustain thats fully capable of doing good dmg just to make him another gepard
depends on where you're account is at really, and what content. for harsher environments like moc12 or GnG more sustain is better. For account that doesn't have as developed damage dealers, building extra DMG will help for sure. Also in most content and pure fiction having too much sustain is definitely overkill.
He doesnt really want to be in an acheron team, we wants robin, ratio/boothill and topaz. Fu-xuan, gallagher and fire mc are better sustainers for acheron, overall.
i agree, E2 gallagher can easily sustain an acheron team and apply the debuffs she needs to ult. I think he's more catered to a FUA teams personally because acheron will just nuke everything anyway and doesn't need a long fight sustainer, in my experience with her teams.
Not true tho, Aventurine is Acheron best sustain mainly because his ult gives debuff and use Trend LC for another debuff.You can get his stacks from getting attack from a enemy or use his ult.
Bro are you blind? How the hell Fire mc is better than Aventurine? Fire MC is literally worse sustain for her. Fu Xuan is terrible unless you have E2 Acheron. Gallagher 2nd Acheron best sustainer. Idk what you talking but this is a stupid take i ever seen.

For the first time, i don’t thing this guide is good, it is actually misleading, cause aven’s main thing from other sustains is his damage potential, saying that you should focus on his def capabilities is just wrong imo
I was leaning to building him DMG and building it towards it also at first. The DMG I was getting at E0 wasn't making me impressed. Also another important thing I noticed from testing him is that when the shield broke, He lost so much DMG as well. But when I used more DEF he was sustaining way better and also more SP positive. While DMG wasn't impressive, but the FUA triggers gave my FUA setup much more DMG synergystically

I hope so I started late lost kafka 50/50 and so I need a strong secondary team I do want to have a kafka team but she won't get another rerun anytime soon but since I have topaz ratio makes sense to build been waiting for the right supports for fua future is looking good for fua for sure now

I don't like topaz. So I will add Jade from IPC instead. Erudition usually deal AOE damage. So it will be perfect combo with aventurine. That is where I aim and reason to gacha on aventurine. I skip argenti and that is why I will get Jade.
Also, the best pair for Dr Ratio is actually Silver Wolf. I tried it. For FUA yes, Topaz. But other than that, I will prefer Silver Wolf for Dr Ratio.

yes, guarenteed cc res, once every 2 turns, if shield is present.
I already used all my Jades for E2s1 Acheron i dont have any Jades to summon for him anymore. So I'm skipping and I'll summon for Fu xuan on her rerun..😂
