Here is a short clip on how I take a sample of our engine oil and send it in for testing. We use this same process to test the generator oil and transmission fluid.
I buy a case of sample bottles from Caterpillar. The sample bottles come labeled already with postage and they are sent to S.O.S. You can buy them from Amsoil and several other oil companies

Did you purchase the pump and bottles as a kit or everything separately?
I bought a pump kit from Amsoil and a case of test bottles from Caterpillar. I choose cat test bottles because that is what the previous owner used.
