When the attraction was built in 1955, Walt Disney Originally wanted the Casey Jr. Circus Train to be a high speed roller coaster like what was shown in the Disney Movie, however, due to the technology of the time, that was not possible. A newer, more thrilling version of the Casey Jr. Circus Train can be found in a part of Disneyland Paris' Fantasyland in France. This version of Casey Jr. Circus Train in Disneyland Paris is much closer to how Walt Disney originally wanted the Casey Jr. Circus Train compared to the Original Casey Jr. Circus Train in Disneyland.

Love this ride! However, you shouldn’t ride it during the day between May-October. It’s literally an oven in the desert heat lol.
