Only one small thing that sounds different to my ear. I hear "you'd hear me ring that bell" so 'you'd' future tense, not 'you' present tense.

This is genuinely the first female cover of this song I've heard where the singer did right by PMP. Excellent work, lovely voice, and fantastic breath control~
Between this and the Anna cover, this is by far my favorite.
There's a soulfulness in the vocals that really nails that outlaw country folk vibe. It's exactly the sort of thing I'd expect to hear played live in some smoky dive outside of Tallahassee.
I admit, I was skeptical about how much I'd enjoy this version, but you gave me chills, madam! Your voice has just the right grit and "gravel," so to speak to really make this rendition work. I'd almost even go so far as to say you have a better voice for this type of song than the creators of it.

This was this first I heard this song. It kept getting recommended in other videos, but this was the first I clicked on it (though on my TV). I went on to watch other covers, but this is still by far the best I've heard. I went and finally listened to the original, too, and yours is the only one that goes hard enough to hold a candle to it. I just love it so much. Amazing work. I'm really glad I decided to give it a listen!

You know, Chloe, I used to listen to this while trekking up 8 hills in 30 celcius sun, enough that it one day made a halo at midday once, and I thought for the longest time that there was no greater freedom than that. Working hard, sweating, feeling that burn even if it fucking hurt.
I was wrong. There is a greater freedom right here, in your beautiful rendition of the song. Took me right back to that burn over a year later and I'm actually going back there soon, within the next 6 months. I think I found my new exercise music!

This was excellent. A song that really screams your personality as well as showing the spirit of your love for singing. The beat was amazing, the vocals were on point, and the atmosphere was just gorgeous. I love the almost country style acoustic guitar beat and violin tune in the background and it really makes me feel like I’m listening to a feel good song. Plus I just generally love these kinds of songs since they always have this up beat allure and comforting feel to them, so its nice that your showing it some love. This was beautiful as always Chloe.
