Such a sad and heartbreaking ending for little Winnie. ❤️🩹 I’m happy she isn’t suffering anymore because she was probably in a lot of distress. She probably had a complicated and very hard delivery/labor. Praying her three babies are going to end up being healthy and well. My condolences goes out to you. ❤

I agree. There's nothing to judge. Some things are out of our control. They take great care of their goats and sometimes things don't go as planned in life. There doesn't always have to be a fault.

NO NOT WINNIE!!!!! Im so sorry u all lost her, she was a great doe and gave u some amazing kids. I'm so sad and I love animals of all kind and hate when they don't make it for any reason. I know there wasn't anything that u all could do and u did do what u could when u seen the issues arise. I love u all sending prayers and goat love to u all. Glad u are doing better Crystal and are on the mend.

sorry for your loss; we don't raise goats but raise a large number of sheep, hogs and beef cattle; no matter how many you have, each time you loose one, it is difficult and you feel responsible; all you can do is make their loss meaningful by learning from it and preventing it from happening again if possible. The animals have a wonderful home with caring folks, if they didn't then losses wouldn't be difficult.

The reality of life sucks sometimes. I'm glad you don't gloss over the bad parts. You are all as real as it gets and I can only appreciate it all. I’m right there with you all at Blue Cactus 😢This year has been hard for you Crystal toward the end of the kidding season. Just like mine with breeding season of my Maltese. We lost 4 puppies out of 8. 2 males 2 females. 2 girls had cleft palate and the 2 boys born with intestines out of their bodies 😢. I’m drained mentally and physically and emotionally as I Know that’s what you’re feeling. I just downsized my kennel and now, I’m ready to reduce the number of litters I’ll produce in a season. We are getting older and wiser and somehow we all learn to go on with less and we realize in doing so, we actually GAIN! My prayers are and will stay with you all at Blue Cactus! I grew up on a small farm. These things happen despite all your best care. Crystal, your herd knows you care for them and your you tube followers can tell you care about your herd, too. Handle that...we'll be here when you all get back up to speed. Sorry for the loss but Winnie seemed like she was struggling through the pregnancy with the prolapse. Something was just off with her. It happens. Wasn't meant to be.

Wishing you all healing, mercy, and peace ahead in this difficult time. You are awesome and putting smiles on so many faces every day. My PTSD is so much easier to handle naturally thanks to your goat soaps, especially patchouli. Remember who you are, and hang onto that.

I had grown fond of Winnie and loved her coloring and markings. Even pet owners have to face very sad issues that are out of our control. I had to put down my 16-year-old cat last year so I get it. I watch Crystal tirelessly work as a midwife and she does a whole lot more than most people do. I know your family loves the goats, no doubts at all. Get well, Crystal, and take care of yourself.
