Thanks. Its a pain rigging solo but it works. Been off work a few weeks due to some problems. Cant wait to get back up into trees.. thanks for watching
for sure. more to pack up tho. I usually just use stubs lol. already packin a lot of stuff up. thought about a mini porta wrap tho. would b handy. thanks for watching
Hey. It’s not often I rig on my own but when I do i just run the rigging line through a crotch, then you can skip all the biners and slings. Thanks for a nice clip. Love the name of the channel. 😂😂
@@megadosevitaminc8774 I'm a bit late to the party, but I'm wondering if you've realized you can tie the ground side across the property and tie the tree side up high where you're working and just use those carabiners and cinch ties to speedline the limbs down to the ground without messing with ropes between each cut.
Nice job. The joys of working alone 😆. Why not use a zip line setup. Looks like plenty of places to go with it in front or put back depending on whether you're hauling the debris away or not.
I have done it before and the bigger ones always seem to stop early then the line is too low. At least this way i can get my line back. Its always a pain by myself. Brush went out to my truck. Deck, hot tub, and shed in the way. Looks like tons of drop room from the video but its close to the deck. Thanks for watching...
@@megadosevitaminc8774 I know what you mean about how it appears, never take a job based on pictures 😂. You can do a vertical zip line too, then you won't have to worry about them making it to the bottom/the line angle. It keeps the but end from flipping into whatever targets you have.
@@brettblack7049 .. might try that next time. I was working both sides but that may have been the trick... from the ground I thought I could just drop them. But once i was up didnt wanna chance it. I always forgot about the vertical zip line...
Do you guys find getting the solo zipline super tight works best? I do like the idea of a control line + zip. But that’s a bit time consuming probably unnecessary
@@numchuckkiller . Oh yea. Thats a steel core sonits good. Just the jacket is kinda messed up a bit. Catches my hitch sometimes but the core is the part holding it. Thanks. They r just some really cheap ones at the home depot. They are like 1 or 2 bucks each. Not rated for tree work but for small stuff they are fine. I just got some better ones off amazon. I will make a video of them soon. Heres a link to the cheap ones. Probably not the best idea to be using but gotta do what ya gotta do sometimes. i agree with everything said on the video.
thanks. much appreciated... thanks for watching
nice work....I really like watching different rigging ideas🤙

Great technique. Thanks for sharing it. 💪
your welcome. way funner and easier with a ground guy but sometimes ya gotta keep at it by yourself.
Great video! Just subscribed. The solo rigging is absolutely fascinating. I'm looking forward to future content.
Cool thanks. Glad u like. Thanks for watching. Got a job Saturday with another youtuber jeff Schroder. Should make for some awsome vids.
Can’t wait to watch the video!

Thumbs up! Nice rigging. I've had to do that one time a few months ago.

Thanks. A pain in the arse by myself for sure.
Thank you for not editing out the middle steps, as a lot of video's do...

Awesome video. Your lanyard scares me though.
Which one?
@@megadosevitaminc8774 Orange one has a lotta picks. Maybe though I could be seeing it wrong.

A big figure of 8 would help with adding firiction into the rigging system so you dont have to take wraps around limbs. Good job tho
Thanks. Just trying g to haul up less gear. I work alone so I gotta pack up everything at 1 time so gets heavy lol. Thanks for watching

Nice video! What kind of rope are you using to lower your limbs?
Its a notch. I think kraken if i remember right. Its pretty beefy. Just gotta keep the saw away from it. Thanks for watching..

They are gm climbing brand loop straps off amazon.
