I just got done switching the pickups to Dave Mustaine Live Wire Seymour Duncans active. Looking to change all hardware to polish nickel to match the pickups. I love the guitar so far. Just need to do all the hardware upgrades
Sounds amazing might get the kelly next. When I got might after a walked away 4 people checked it out. That when I said enuff and went ahead bought it.
Did you have to make any modification when installing the tone pros locking bridge? I picked this guitar up the other day and there's some weird ringing in the bridge so I want to replace it. I'm hoping I don't have to make any body modifications
As long as you get the Metric/Import Guitar version then it’s a direct replacement with no modifications whatsoever. If you buy the Imperial/US Guitar version then you would have to change out the dowels. Cheers -Ryan
Which tone tonepros bridge did you use? I was thinking about doing the same upgrades but I've never changed the parts of my guitar, so the options are a little overwhelming lol. Also, did you replace the nut?
Make sure to get the Metric Size as that is for Import Guitars. The Bridge is SUPER EASY to swap out. Very easy to Intonate as well. I left the nut alone... I've never replaced a nut myself and I haven't had any issues with it as of yet. I don't play this guitar a ton, but it's great when I do! Cheers -Ryan
I recently got a JS32 Rhoads in black with the white bevels, I wanna like it so bad, but it’s for sure the worst player in my collection, I’ve tried adjusting the action and truss rod and no luck, either too high or god awful fret buzz from the 7th fret onwards, would a bridge replacement fix that? I’m new to dealing with guitar setups and all that so I’m not too sure.
A bridge replacement wouldn't really fix the issue. You're best to take it in for a setup. If you've already tried adjustments on Bridge Height and Truss Rod Adjustments, it might cost you $30-50, but at least at that point you'd have a guitar in good working order. I find when you buy Jackson's used you usually have to do a lot of work to them. Cheap work. But a lot of it! Cheers -Ryan

I actually just picked this one up new in the box for $250 at gc. Have yet to unbox and play it
Damn dude! Those pups beefed up the sound of that guitar so much. This guitar seems like it was made to be a modding platform.
They are bro

@@Crypticmaskguitar thank you, Ryan! Keep it up with the great videos!
@@Crypticmaskguitar is the metric size a one size fits all?
Metric only works for Import Guitars, where as American Made use Imperial sizes. Cheers -Ryan
@@Crypticmaskguitar well the guitar is made in China, so it fits all?
Do you have a link to the locking tuners you used?
Sperzel USA has a website that lists all of their products. Best place to look. Cheers -Ryan
I just bought one of these!
I plan on putting in James Hetfield EMG hetset pickups in it.
Might be a tough squeeze for the battery... but I have been told it is possible. Congrats on the new guitar! Cheers -Ryan
Bro really bought a whole ass guitar just because he didn't want to change the pickup order, I wish I have that kind of money laying around lol
Maybe stop hanging out in the trailer park and get a job
@@VolReedI’m 13 can’t get a job
