Use it Up, Wear It Out, Make With Do, Do Without

Every aspect of American life was refocused towards the goal of winning the war during World War II, and everyone tried to do their part to support the Allied troops. Students will learn how Americans on the home front reused, reduced and recycled materials to help win the war and compare how this way of living still exists today.
Students will compare and contrast how Recycling, Reducing, and Reusing how people incorporated this in their daily lives in the 1940’s and today.
