This looks freaking amazing!!! Is this downloadable? My only memories of this is when it was released in the arcades when I was s a 15 yo kid stacking quarters up on the machine to wait your turn in line. I remember going to the grocery store tearing pages out of the gaming magazines just to memorize the finishing moves to impress the lookers at the arcade. Then was excited to play it the SNES systems.

The detail with the valkano erupting in the pit is impressive.
Easily the best Mugen Mortal Kombat game IMO. I was so amped years ago when MK BloodStorm was a thing sadly never came to be but one thing that stood out in that game was hearing the announced "Phenomenal" in game & am so happy to hear it here in this game. The level of detail given to this version is insane. Well Done creators!!

Sub zeros third fatality is dope. The fact that he pulls his mask off like scorpion and reptile to do his ice breath mk3 fatality… def works for me. All in all tho I don’t think I’d pay money for this game. The second game was a close to a masterpiece in itself.

Amigão me tira uma dúvida, que sempre fico eu joga, assistir um pouco alguém joga este mortal kombat, a dúvida e a seguinte: tem um carinha que sempre aparece repentinamente nas partidas e some, aparece na parte desta gameplay 0:44 e some na parte 0:45 pergunto tirando esta dúvida, o que significa este carinha, ele tem algum comando para desperta algum personagem oculto ou outra coisa? você saberia dizer?
Esse cara que aparece na tela falando "Toasty" .Se chama Dan Forden, que é o designer-chefe de áudio da franquia Mortal Kombat. Ele aparece no jogo como easter egg, no caso ele aparece involuntariamente.

Looks beautiful but more often than not gameplay appears unruly. For a shitty mugen, this is as good as it gets. I began discovering glitches as soon as I booted it up. For example, Shang Tsung cannot fire triple skulls after he lands his move stealer, combos won't come out against certain characters, sweep is ineffective against lying opponents... Just doesn't feel like MK. Way to go with your effort, but, like I said, it's still just a mugen. Rather shift your focus on MK2+. Now that the source code is out, you could help Paul make truly great MK game.
This Mugen is beautiful, people who are playing this mugen are having difficulties with the gameplay, the game is difficult. Combos in the air are difficult to achieve.
Just a MUGEN?? OK, each to their own, I suppose. Personally, I feel that there are some amazing MUGEN MK games out there, which I actually prefer to the official games 🤷♂️

This MK3 with an MK2 skin on it. MK2 didnt have Run or combos
If the then MK had been as good as this version, it would certainly have been an even greater success.
But I still have three questions:
1. who is Hornbuckle exactly?
2. are there no brutality’s or animality‘s in this version?
And 3. Doesn't Sub-Zero have another fatality? The technique that tear off the back councillor with the head?
1. Hornbuckle and a secret character
2. In this Mugen there is no Brutality or Animality
3. he only has two Fatality

@@m111atthugartner3brutality and animality were added in mk3! This is mk2 remake. It is correct this way. But this mk2 remake is possibly best mk ever, better than original in single player, as there is no cheating ai.

This is NOT MK2, its MK3 with a MK2 skin on it. All these Mugen ideas are all based on MK3 with Run and combos. MK3 was actually the game that revolutionized things with these features, and never gets credit.

@@chickenbites8877 You have to install Reshade inside the game folder. Just search for the video "How to setup Mortal Kombat 2 remix with arcade scan lines" by Vampire Machine. It's worth the effort.

si se quiere hacer un fangame de mk2 o mejorar ciertas cosas es un error meterle run al juego en si...mk2 y mk1 no tienen run en los personajes ni menos combos con comandos predeterminados...esto mas bien es como un solano o un umk3 disfrazado del 2...hasta ahora la mejor version hecha por fans es la plus
