Great review. Another one you might want to look at is The Pocket at Falaise by Against the Odds Magazine. It's another Racier predecessor to the Dark/Deadly series.
Of the three dark games (I haven't played deadly woods, so let's ignore that) it probably my favorite. Love all three, but I had a massively fun time with it Also totally didn't have a German win of 32-8. I played solo, but I really actually had more interest of playing as the germans. I like defensive mindsets though, so I might be in minority of players
@@rogerflack415 t-shirts don't need elaborate back stories. Fascism is fought in every day discourse pushing back against an ideology that destroys. Does that bother you?
@@stevendolges8372 My father went to fight Fascism in 1943 and wore a uniform. You wear a t-shirt and do it in everyday discourse. He rarely talked about his experiences but I bet you've got a fund of anecdotes. I'm just fascinated by the need to wear a t-shirt to describe what any decent person would be doing in their everyday life without turning it into a public demonstration.
Great review and would be great to see you now do Case Yellow.

This one will hit the table as soon as I'm done with the dark valley campaign I'm working my way thru.
I appreciate your thoughtful comments.
Is there a program or software that can make these hex maps. I absolutely love the counter-game maps.
Thanks for the review Steven. I've not played any of the Dark series but as said before, I won't miss The Dark Seas😁
Great overview and review. Thanks!!
One of my all time favorite games.

I do recommend Deadly Woods, it is great!
Good reviews thanks mate - I enjoyed watching this. Do you like this or N44 more?
Intrigued by the t-shirt, "Fight Fascism". What's the back story on that?
Fascism is bad.
@@stevendolges8372 Sure. Where are you fighting it? So others can join in.

@@rogerflack415 if I wore a shirt that said 'drink water' would you have commented at all?
