@@Benzknees that's fair! To each their own for sure! I have used this model for some pretty big multi day tour trips, and it works great for me, but there are definitely times i wouldn't mind it being a little lighter for sure 😅
@michaelneal3041 i think they ate great for both! Last season I was in these boots and had probably about 80/20 balance between resort/back country, this season it's been closer to 50/50 and I've loved them for all of it! Probably not as stiff as a true alpine boot, but an amazing balance if you're looking for a one boot quiver 🤘

I own & like the older XTD Ultra 130 before it put on weight, but I wouldn't swop it for the current model as it's just too heavy for serious touring.

How do you think they compare to a true alpine/downhill boot? Looking at using them as a 80% resort, 20% backcountry boot.
