I think calcharo is harder to master his playstyle. While jiyan is easier. But every character works. I have cleared the tower with calcharo team, and encore team since i dont have jiyan. But im definitly building him if i have him.
They're both good, unfortunately it seems you did not consider all factors that affect those numbers. This showcase would dish out more accurate numbers on a SOLO TOA comparison but if we are talking about how Calcharo is keeping up with Jiyan's performance, yes Calcharo does keep up with him albeit weaker since Jiyan is a limited unit. For the Team Comps: Team A (Jiyan - Mortefi - Verina) againts Team B (Calcharo - Yinlin - Verina) Both team comp used Verina (Verina heals the following character equal to 19% of her ATK per second for 6s. All Characters gain 15% all-Type DMG Deepen for 30s. Mortefi buffs the following character 38% Heavy Attack DMG Deepen for 14 seconds or until the switch. Yinlin buffs the following character 20% Electro DMG Deepen, and 25% Resonance Liberation DMG Deepen for 14 seconds or until switch. Each comp used a different sub-dps/enabler, what I'm trying to point out is the use of a premium enabler, ofc a 5* enabler would do wonders to further elevate Calcharo's performance however that would result to an inaccurate comparison since Yinlin buffs two parts of Calcharo's dmg while Mortefi buffs just Heavy Atks for Jiyan. Now for the characters themselves. Jiyan got almost every essential Forte leveled up and its branches activated along with all his inherent skills while Calcharo doesn't, you can say that Calcharo's 2nd Inherent Skill is irrelevant since its for Soaking more dmg but situations may arise where you lose dps because you have to heal which ruins rotations. Yinlin on the other hand got both her inherent skills and got most of her essential Forte's leveled up while Mortefi doesn't. In terms of rotations you could've worked more on each teams respective rotations since I'm seeing a lot of lost dps because you messed up your rotations. yeah all their talents aint leveled up yet Jiyan got more upgraded talents than calcharo but yinlin got more leveled up talents than mortefi, I think its pretty balanced but yeah you Ill give u your point here. i know the title says Jiyan vs calcharo but im just comparing the 2 best teams right now Also my rotations change depending on the floor of the TOA, meaning im trying to clear the floor the fastest way possible. VS bosses I think i barely messed up any rotations even tho im trynna do the rotations the fastest way possible, since RNG exists and bosses do random moves Its very hard to hit every rotation perfectly. Now that you called it out yeah I'll find a way to execute perfect rotations always. THANKS for you comment 😎😎
the fact that jiyan did faster in the boss room vs cal + yinlin when the favor were stacked against him, says alot. 30% aero dmg bonus when its already hitting diminishing returns for jiyan vs 30% electro dmg bonus for both cal and yinlin making that a 60% buff, him fighting against a group of enemies first losing time before the boss even shows up, and the fact that mephist is always moving around losing dps time, unlike heron which is a sitting duck and is numerically squishier than mephist
They have their own fightng styles though in this fight Jiyan have the upper hand since when he's in his liberation mode he can stack up the enemies with his AoE basic attacks while Calcharo is better with a single enemy
