Looks in good shape for a 'used' vacuum. We are lucky in the UK having a few outlets where you can sometimes pick up a bargain. A few years back we got a Felix that looked brand new and unused for less than £100. An absolute steal. Does the Vax indicate the brushroll motor size separate from the suction motor? We wonder if it is perhaps a bit underpowered thus performing as it did on your long pile rug.
Me too. In Singapore we also dont have upright vacuum, i also have low pile carpets in my bedrooms. And my plug and voltage is the same as UK, so i dont need an adaptor. I prefer upright to deep clean my tile floors and cylinder is best for daily vacuuming my house

Yours somewhat resembles my Hoover Air Steerable. Enjoy!
Thanks! It's the same vacuum, but stiffer brushroll and different cleaninghead opening.

Upright vacuums are the best at deep cleaning indeed. We only have very expensive commercial uprights available in Finland.
