Coach Tony Bennett, the best looking coach in the NCAA, period. Congrats to my home state Hoos, our 35 year wait has ended, glad I'm still here to have witnessed it, the best tournament in decades.
I am from VA. My dad got us season tickets to the games this year, first time. He said he “felt something about the team”. Well I guess he did, we went to every reg season game and watched every one that was showed on tv. He went to the final four with his brother to witness a dream they’ve both had forever. It was sorta funny but, even though I new exactly what you were going to say, I still found it interesting. You made a great vid 👍
Firesight I 100% agree. It sucks that the Boiers couldn’t pull it off. But I love that you guys beat Auburn. But I think that the loss of Boggie Edwards will obviously hurt us. But our three freshmen are amazing and our sophomores are also really good. But I wish you and cavs fans luck this year!!
Being a cuse fan, watching Virginia come back down 2 at half and win by 26 at the dome was somewhat neat.. they were special! Cool to see the national champions live, great video Cole!
This team did what no other Uva team has done, not even with the great Ralph Sampson. Win a National Championship! Congratulations to the best college basketball team in America!
As a UVA fan, seeing any highlights of the UMBC game is nightmarish, but if that's what it took to win a title, I'll more than take it! Also, not sure if the AP poll existed yet, but I know UVA was ranked #1 in whatever poll was prominent during the Sampson days. Regardless, great video and Go Hoos!
Man, y'all still whining about the double dribble but ignore the foul that caused it? The coach has moved on from it, how can you non Auburn not move on?
They didn't call alot of stuff on Auburn (I'm a UVA fan so this is probably bias lol) but it is not the final play that decides the game, its every play that does.
@@lane9508 You could also argue that free throws decide a game. I think Jared Harper missed a crucial free throw that would've made a three point lead rather than two. But at the end of the day you really should be able to rely on officials to make the right call during the final four. No, you can't expect them to be 100% but it is reasonable to expect them to call the double dribble. And it cost an equal if not better story than Virginia the chance to play for a national title.
Count the 5 stars here. www.espn.com/college-sports/basketball/recruiting/player/_/id/188470/kyle-guy But to your other point. I think the author is talking about the Tony Bennett era Cavs. He also said UVa was in it's first final four, which is wrong.

That hurt so much that Purdue lost that game. I never wanted to see them lose but man it was a coin flip for me against Virginia. But an elite 8 appearance is still really special and it was still a memorable season.

i mean they’re a completely different team than last year its cool that they went from a 1st round ultimate choke to the title winner but it’s not as legendary as i hear others say it is
I disagree. Talk about pressure! Also, if you look at the game replay, Guy was actually fouled on the previous shot, which would have made it a 4 Point play, and would have tied up the game at that point. The way Guy was able to stand up there alone, with the pressure of the game, his own anxiety and the history of disappointment Virginia basketball has had over the years... he steps up and knocks down three in a row. Magic.
@@RMTStudiosI disagree with your disagreement. Auburn easily would have closed out the game if it wasn't for a cheap no call on a double dribble by UVA with under *20* seconds to play. Auburn easily could have held possession of the ball and won the game. Maybe next time you should reconsider what you are saying before saying it. And I know the penalty at the end of the game was the right call but the cavaliers never would have ever had the chance to take the shot if the double dribble had been called on UVA.
