I am glad Alan is getting more roles. He was great in smallville and then reacher of course. So good to see him getting more roles and being recognised for his talent more.
Dont forgot blue mountain state😂
@@bhoogvlietHe's so funny in that show.😂😂😂
And fast 9
Best role was American Idol!😂
And he played Hawk in Titans. He was my favorite character on that show
This is what Hollywood should be creating on a regular basis. Looks very well done. Will absolutely watch this.
Exactly …. I guess one good film out of hundreds is a starting point . But still not enough for me to go out and see it or buying it , I’ll wait to rent it .
They can't. Hollywood is so morally bankrupt they will continue to put out worse and worse filth. I dunno about Swank and how woke she is but guessing she's on the bandwagon. Regardless I don't think I'll bother with this or anything else the mainstream put out again.
@@markwolo2524There are entire studios of great films being produced. Just not in the $80 Million plus Budget range. FYI NOT all Hollywood movies are block busters.
@@markwolo2524 Buy a few tickets & then buy one extra, our money speaks to the producers of these Good Flicks with a message
Because I am here. Because I can. Beautiful words to live by.
True. It caught my ears, too.
I have worked in a bankruptcy law firm for over 13 years. Medical debt is the number one cause of people needing to file for bankruptcy. I've seen it countless times. Worse? Worse is that our service members have had to file because of medical debt. That's messed up. The entire system is broke. Looks like a great movie though!
One of the few good things about England is we get free healthcare.
Australia everything basically free.
@@paulreynolds9003 same as Australia
It's better than good. I got to see a special showing of the movie
My Country is FAR from perfect but I’m eternally grateful for the option on free or (paid for) private healthcare. NOBODY should lose everything just because they or their loved ones get sick. It’s absolutely barbaric...
Alan Ritchson has always been an underrated actor.
am fan of him since reacher now on Fast x he was in Smallville this guy is good
Yeah. Amen.
In Titans he plays a Superhero with kinda some issues. He plays it really great.
Can't buy him as a roofer though--he would fall through.
Hate his character on fast x but we're supposed to hate him since he's the bad guy@@dariojovicic9346
"Because I'm here and because I can." Wow, that got me. Can wait to see this movie.
YES!! I was just saying 2 days ago that I'd love Alan Richson to get into something like this and this pops up! This is a completely different character for him and with all the hard work he's done and personal issues that would have floored most of us that he came through, I'm rootin for him and this film! Hillary Swank is boss too! 50 year old Scottish guy approval rate 100%!
Agreed!
Absolutely they dude is an amazing actor
If any man watching this has daughters like myself, you know this trailer hits you. I can’t wait to see this.
Yeah, I have a 3 month old daughter now, my first. Just this trailer has me questioning whether I'll even be able to make it though the movie.
@@codenamegrant cried like a baby...damn
I got stuck up on the trailer, man
The Reacher series has done wonders for Alan Ritchson. Im seeing him in alot more stuff now.
Finally, an uplifting movie! Beats the snot outta super heroes and body count movies!
True , well made movie
Here here. I'm always leery about clicking on trailers these days, but it's good to see something positive for once... this and Sound of Freedom.
There's a niche for everyone, so no need to denigrate movie genres that don't appeal to you. Movies that make billions make it possible for a movie studio to spend money on movies like this; i.e, movies that will not make billions and not worry about whether it will be profitable or not. Movie studios aren't in business to make you happy, they are in it for the money, just in case that's not clear. That said, I love superhero movies but I love these kinds of movies too.
"Do you want to go on an adventure?" and hearing the little girl say uh-huh in response just melts my heart Alan Richson pulled it off in spades in the moment he's worried sick about her condition. But at the same time in that same moment in his role as a father, his task is to ease her stress and pain by taking her mind off it by having a spontaneous trip to the hospital a fun moment. I'm also sure that she realizes that he's trying to help her take her mind off her pain but she's just appreciative of her father in that moment as she plays along so in a sense they are helping each other.
The trailer alone had me in tears. I think I will be going through a lot of tissues watching this one.
I was under insured at age 30 when they found my grapefruit sized tumor. Lost everything and moved back in with my parents. Had friends who didn't make it die in medical debt. People want to vilify me for having to go on disability when i actually survived and lost everything. It's the whole system that needs to be reevaluated so people are sick can get care and not die drowing in medical debt. We didn't know our parents remortgage their home to pay for my moms diabetes medication and supllies either. When will people finally wake up for actual change? Other countries don't worry about loosing everything they worked for if someone gets sick or has an accident. We're a smart rich country. Time people speak up!!! This is wrong!
Ugh, I'm fighting to not cry reading your post. I understand you perfectly, your story is very similar to what mine is becoming, except I'm 51 (with a minimum of advanced liver disease and god knows what going on in my brain) and less than 6 years ago was the income-earner of my family of 3 (a hard-working high-earning corporate machine). Man, things change. You are absolutely right - it's not right, it's not fair, it's inhumane, and it's shameful. And no one cares, especially the federal govt, who are actively trying to steal from a family - my family - that is at or below the poverty line by using the IRS to claim ignorance over and over and over on thousands owed to us. Monies that could be useful right this minute to get critical specialist visits, imaging, meds, biopsies, continue treatment plans, etc. while still being able to pay for a loaf of bread, gas for the car (so someone can go somewhere to earn $! how shocking!), some sort of a roof. I'm definitely not at 100% right now, but I will send you what strength and positive vibes I have and keep you in my prayers, Paula.
I root for you, man ..but you have to realize, this will never change. People are not gonna wake up. Big pharma is not gonna stop bribing politicians, ehm. "lobbying" ... and the politicians will not suddenly start to care about the people. There are some great individuals in the US, but as a society and a country - it's too far gone, run by power-hungry greedy psychopaths who only take care of their own (other power-hungry greedy psychopaths). We only have ourselves to rely on... just keep grinding and keep your spirits high.
so sorry all of that happened to you. i agree, things need to change. we need to become a country that helps each other, not just takes from each other. wish you the best.
I‘m sorry about what you have to experience.
I am from Germany, which is a democracy with a well running social system and health insurance both funded by taxes everyone has to pay, except the poor and unemployed.
We have many health insurance companies, which are funded by these taxes, so no one has to pay if someone like what you experienced experience.
To many Americans our system seems to be too communistic, which really isn‘t.
We even help unemployed people with the social taxes to have the possibility to live a fairly decent life if possible.
The American capitalistic system has a lot of issues which just widens the gap between the poor and the rich.
The middle class is getting smaller and smaller.
This already happens in Germany and the middle class is carrying everything via taxes, because the rich do pay too few taxes.
@@davidradtke5166 Now add to it the end of cheap energy from Russia, millions of migrants that will NEVER work or pay taxes, just suck the welfare system dry, economically and politically suicidal decisions by your green government ...and the paradise will be no more, rather sooner ..
This looks so awesome! Hillary Swank looks inspiring and Alan Ritchson is awesome in Reacher. Love to see him in something so heartwarming.
You said it! Ritchson IS Reacher!
Watch Above the Shadows. You'll love it.
@@michelejames8695 Agreed it was good, but I do love me some Hillary Swank though, so those two combined in this movie is going to be great!
I just love these inspiring movies where someone is willing to give it their all to help out another human being or family that really needs it. Hillary Swank pulled me in, the trailer inspired by a true story was the hook, line & sinker.
Too bad people don't learn from it.
Thank you! This movie is not like The Blind Side; it tells the whole truth about what the family went through during this time.
-The Family.
they are abviously not on epsteins or chinas list
“Because I’m here and I can” amen
Jack Reacher is "reaching" new heights in his career. Loving it!
That’s Thadmisgnificent right there
He's deep undercover 😂
Alan Ritchson is just an absolute star, he has such a presence, an aura, good luck to him.
Movies where people do more than just leave prayer emojies and think they did something are the best kind of movies. This film looks wonderful.
As soon as Space Between by Dave Mathews started playing along within the trailer along with the story, I started bawling. This movie looks like something I need to see. I love inspirational stories where someone pushes beyond what we think is possible.
wonderful song by DMB, and the movie trailer is very emotional..🎶🎥🌨
OMG same I thought I might make it through the end but, here we are 🤣
Uria85, I am assuming 1985 was when you were born, so you are just discovering what life is all about. I say this with respect from being 19 years older, not smarter.
What I have learned in my life is the people in my family need the most love I can give them, please join me in giving love to the people in your life who might not deserve it, but who desperately need it.
They know how to tug our heart strings don't they.
@@johnlozauskas778 1978 brother. 85 is number personal to me but I get your point. I appreciate you sharing your experience.
When you have one child knocking on Heavens door, you leave no stone unturned. I know how that works.
My elder son was paralyzed in 2004 by a drunk driver. His health was never the same after broken ribs, two disintegrated vertebrae, a cracked skull, bruised liver and kidneys and a herniated diaphragm which allowed his intestines to be wrapped around his heart. He spent 5 months in a Texas hospital. He fought for his life a few times during that time. Long story short. He died nearly three years later.
Then fifteen years later his one year younger brother nearly died too.
Seeing both my boys hooked too tubes and machines...
So I will have tissues on hand when watching this movie for sure.
Love that Alan got this role. I'm excited to see him in something with heart and soul and just not shirtless on Smallville or a meathead on Blue Mountain or a OP on Reacher. It'll be nice to see if he has some depth that give him a chance to be a real leading man like I wish Tom Welling got. Trailer looks good.
Hillary Swank is just one of those people that radiates goodness. I love everything about her and i enjoy her work.
I'm not one for inspirational films but this is a great cast and it looks like they really do a good job at keeping the characters real and not just Hallmark versions. I will give it a watch.
To think the premise of this entire movie is regarding hospital bills. I am just glad of where I was born.
Be glad every day. I was born in UK but moved to US and health insurance is a nightmare! Can’t afford to go to the drs too much even with it. My son who was on our plan until 26 is now without any health insurance because he can’t afford it with a low paying job, worry about him constantly . Wish I was back in UK ,even with the state of NHS ,sure is a heap better than paying money we don’t have . This film doesn’t lie ,it’s worse for some. 😢
Same here. Canada.
The USA is not a place for helping its people with medical anything, I know firsthand
Wrong. The premise is to live a self-sacrificial life. A life that sees the good in serving and helping others when they're faced with adversity. "for it's better to give than to receive".
@Roheryn100 right, Had a baby last year and cost $0, wofe has major surgery $0, I had back surgery $0. Canada, even with the high cost of loving and liberal cunts in power its still better than 95% of all countries.
Alan Ritchson is just getting more popular by the day. Kudos to him….love him as Reacher and ❤ he’s a fellow Christian.
Goodness gracious if I'm choking up during a trailer, how the heck am I gonna get through the movie?
No joke.
i actually got goose bumps from this towards the end. looks amazing.
Our country needs more movies and people like this. We have way way too much hate. For Any so called American to willingly choose to hate someone they don't even know because they look different from them, think different, talk different or love different, is NOT why we were put here. If this is you, then the problem is YOU. Quit making hate so easy to manufacture !
I love that Alan is getting some better roles after what he did with Reacher. This looks great.
I know there are many men out there who call themselves #GirlDad & barely do they live their lives truly reflecting what a girl dad is, but Alan Ritchson’s character has surpassed that meaning in many ways. This was such a phenomenal movie!
Ed is an AMAZING Father in real life. 100% of everything he does is for his family. He's one of the best human beings you could ever meet.
I like how everyone is indeared by the story of that woman helping a little girl when it's totally occulted by the dystopian fact that the American health care system would let her die for financial reasons.
I'm Canadian BTW.
lol canadians health care system is extremely flawed get off your high horse
I'm not sure why you publicly identify as Canadian when in the span of 1 year Canadians legalized humans having sex with animals and then allow the government & schools to take away kids if the parents disagree with their Gender Ideology.
Righteously identifying as Canadian because you pay 20% income tax to wait 6 months for a procedure that takes 5 minutes is like being proud of being the king of Shitmountain. Sure. You're the king, but you're still on Shitmountain.
People plan syrup-heists in Canada because it's worth more than your money.
Truly a meme nation who correctly receives 0 respect worldwide.
In Canada you can just euthanize your sick children and disabled and save the government money
That is not true. Hospitals have to treat every patient regardless of their ability to pay. The trailer portrays a situation where the girl has to be air evac'd in a storm. I doubt that would be easy to do in Canada either, especially if they are in one of the remote provinces.
@@yaimavol Euthanasia was #4 for Canada's most deaths last year.
LOL. It beat out Cardiovascular disease.
There's nothing "care" about Canada's health system. When you're done coping and denying reality, ask yourself, *is suicide right for you?*
I hear "No, ma'am. Yes, ma'am" and I'm in already.
It’s about time we had a godly movie out.
This is why I'm so greatful I'm not American. In England, I have the comfort that my kids will have access to FREE medical care. I'm forever greatful for that!!
Alan Ritchson is getting the shots he deserves to show he can act! his star is rising!
Great to see Alan in more starring roles he's the genuine article met him in Liverpool comic con such a respectful humble man love the guy.
Life imitating art at it's finest ,Alan is becoming one of my favorite actor and people, we need more people like him in this world
This trailer had me in tears.
Shame, emotions hit hard -
Same here. I have a 5 year old daughter. Stuff just hits different.
I watched it again, just now, and I can barely see through the tears.
In 1997 I lost my beloved wife of 18 years to cancer. We were living in Germany, so we had no medical bills. Nevertheless, the pain is still there, and I wonder how people in the wealthiest country of earth deal with this…
Please release this in time for Christmas this year. It looks such a heartfelt film.
Was supposed to be a fall 23 release, what kept it away?
The world need more of this.
When i saw Alan in The Titans i was hoping his career would explode, and seems it did, or is going to damn right direction! i love him!
'Cause I'm here, 'cause I can.
Need more of this type of film..
He has the midas touch right now, every serie or movie he is in turns into gold...
These guys are building solid shows…I’d watch anything they make
Looks like a great inspirational movie.
No. This is terrible. Do realize that this isn’t normal ? Americans are so clueless
We need this kind of movie even just 1 like this every year
If only we would treat everyone with this same unwavering conviction & responsibility... our world would be such a better place.
ORDINARY ANGELS looks pretty good, and way better than it could have. Frankly, this preview serves the film as something more interesting and more watchable to a variety of crowds than most independent OR major studio film previews I've seen in the last ten years. The chemistry and casting work. The little kid can act, too. Well done.
Just saw the trailer for this when I went to the movies today. Can't wait to see it!
Hollywood producers too many Marvel movies instead of real life like this one. Looking forward to watching this.
I love this type of movie, can’t wait to see it when it comes out.
"Cause I'm here and Cause I can" ... powerful
the '' smile '' part got me liking this trailer
Alan Ritchson is such a versatile actor. He can play goof balls, bad asses and world class dads.
LOVE LOVE LOVE Alan Ritchson! He is a very gifted actor!
My mom's 50k in bills were reduced to 10k when she showed she was low income and they accepted payments of $50/month. When she died a few years later, the bills left with her. There is so much that can be done with medical bills for those who are struggling with finances and extenuating circumstances. People don't have to be bankrupted by medical bills. That being said, we definitely need to allow competition across state lines. Force companies to lower rates.
That trailer looks killer. He’s one hell of an actor, she’s not bad either.
Hillary will seriously do fantastic in this one. I enjoy watching this actress. This is one with purpose!😊
Amazing motivational movie with GOLDEN WORDS : Coz I am here, coz I can!! I think everyone should think about these words while helping someone
This is more of the type of movies we need from Hollywood.😎💙🙏🏼
Need to see this one!
This should have MORE likes than any other trailer
OMG, i just cried at a trailer, makes you want to do a lot more caring than criticising
Another excellent film demonstrating why this country needs universal health care now.
Sounds outstanding. I like seeing Richson in another role as well. He's a good, solid actor and a good male role model as well.
I've got chills. Must see this!
This is one my favorite actors. And true tough guy. 💪
I just know i am going to sob when i watch this.
“Someone will come along” Logan
“Someone has come along” Xavier
I can't wait to watch this. It looks like a wonderful movie.
finally a movie worth seeing
looks like its gonna make people cry
Alan is a good actor he deserves a role like this
Hillary Swank is such a great actress, so underrated at times though. I loved her in "Boys Don't Cry" and "PS I Love You."
We, whom have free healthcare, should never ever ever ever complain about anything period!!!
I love seeing Alan R getting more roles like a lot of others are saying. If you haven't seen the Reacher series then I would highly recommend it.
God damn. I started crying just watching this. God bless.
I am so amazed that Alan Ritchson is challenging himself like this. Bravo!
Can't wait til I can buy it on DVD.... checked it's not out yet, so I can watch it a million times.
First he taught us about alpha chow, now he's chowing down on our hearts.
How did I cry just watching the trailer.
Amazing.
First trailer I seen in a long time that made me go '100%, going to see this movie'
Looks like a great story!
I'm looking forward to this movie😊
I would see this movie for Alan alone, but the movie looks great! I'm so glad he is getting more work! Love him in Reacher and blue mountain state and his one appearance in workaholics!
This looks amazing ! 🙌🏻💖💞💖
love this already
Wow a movie with a story worth watching.
I'm glad Alan did this movie to give back
Two movie trailers in a row that I want to see. Need to go play the lottery.
I truly wish Alan Ritchson a success career - one of my favourite actor right up there with Henry Cavil - nice to see Hollywood tough guys with a huge acting range.
Looking forward to this!
That seems like a real good movie to see, Ordinary Angels to see the one who plays Reacher in a different light and seeing Hilary Swank in assistance along side is even better.
Alan just expanded his resume
Yeah I'd watch that.
Let’s go reacher doing a feel good movie looks like a very inspiring movie can’t wait 😊
Sweet. This guy was fantastic in Reacher. I'll be watching this.
