@@juffureynah Sean is an absolute improv master, it was well known that he and Megan Mulally were absolutely amazing on Will and Grace at it. The writers once said they could sometimes be running under the episode length and write “Megan and Sean vamp for two minutes” and know they’d come up with something gold, and you can tell even he’s barely keeping up with Marty.

I agree. I never liked Glick that much in on the occasions I'd seen him over the years, but this bit was pretty solid.

I met Martin Short at a show. Waited after show to try n get pick. As he was leaving"lucky to have spotted him" I shouted out his name and asked if I could take a picture of us. He came all the way back from down the hallway and said "of course" in his Martin Short way and was so kind n lovely n funny. I loved this man for years n he did not disappoint. I treasure my photo. Funniest man ever!!!❤❤❤
I met him too at BB Kings in NY when Mike Smith lead singer of the Dave Clark 5 was playing there. He was sitting at a table with Paul Schafer and I walked up & said Hi & asked him to sign the program & they both did which was so cool.

It will last 2 weeks max, is my prediction. I’m not sure people realize the difference between being a daily player on a talk show and being Martin Short. He works for fun, this is the second round of Jiminy Glick, there’s already about an hour or more of 90s or 00s content from Short as Glick. But enjoy this precious treat, Short has a series & he and Steve have other obligations. They likely make about $600,000 a week on TV, plus other appearances. They are technically elderly. Mr Short isn’t going to pick up another day job. Just enjoy Jiminy like a rare seasonal fruit that appears once a generation.

If you haven't seen Glick interview Mel Brooks, please make time in your life (in a place where you can gut laugh freely) and watch it. It's pure joy and two masters at work.

I love all the ones where the guests don't know who he is and are genuinely baffled by his antics. I think the Mel Brooks interview was one of those. Seinfeld and Ricky Gervais, too, but they were both mean, whereas Mel Brooks seemed to have a good time. A painful one was Ice Cube, who was genuinely offended.
Also his interview with Jerry Lewis is absolutely legendary!

Pure comedic genius. He comes out, sits down and just goes...he has so much comedy history and expertise to draw from, it just flows non stop. Even those who are in "the Business" are no match.

You can watch every interview of his over and over. There are so many layers, focusing on Jiminy, then focusing on the guest, then focusing on the physical delivery, then their chemistry. He packs so many laughs in its impossible to catch it all in one watch. We missed you so much Jiminy!

I recently listened to Martin and Steve on the Smartless podcast. Sean is such a fan that he was literally crying while telling Martin and Steve how much they've meant to him.

This is an old character. There are a few interviews on UA-cam already
To be honest, Martin Short is probably not even bothered with UA-cam, there’s a level of fame & wealth where all social media is a step down. Definitely recommend tracking down the old set of interviews, this is likely only going to last a short time. Mr Short is too rich, too famous to become a daily player.
