Pathetic and shameful. It's another one of those people that want to make money from a song that already exists. And shameful enough they do: because there's always young boys and girls that fall for this stuff and believe this is good music. It's NOT. And if that is not pathetic enough: just listen to the way she sings. I mean "sings". In that whining, posturing way. It's disgusting. Music is getting worse and worse and people buy into it. Music isn't about music anymore: it's about copying, appearance, created hits from computers, autotuning, and making completely untalented people stars...FOR THE MONEY. In about 50 years loads of people will have no idea anymore how REAL music sounds like. It's beyond sad.
You know Cheap Trick make money out of this too right ...... And also they did 4 or 5 versions of this themselves before the Budokhan version was a hit .........

It's about integrity and writing your own songs instead of flaunting other people's work and presenting it as being yours. Which is exactly as young teenagers will believe because they have no idea that it is not her song. What if you were a poet and i simply copied your art from your website, altered a few words and tried to sell it online as if i wrote it? Is that normal? Honest? Even if i paid you a few bucks for the rights to your poems...it's disgusting. It's cheap. It's pathetic. Why not come up with your OWN songs, or art, or poems or whatever? Because people that do that have no talent themselves? Because "they can" take it from soemone else? Pathetic! It's HOLLOW.
@@stormbringer67 I kinda get where you're coming from but you are being naive . Many of the biggest rock/pop hits ever have been cover versions of other peoples material . Some of the biggest names in music like the Stones , Beatles , Led Zepplin just to name a few have had hits with covers or even plagiarised other peoples stuff .......Even Cheap tricks biggest hit was a cover of Elvis's Don't be Cruel ....... Now , you don't have to like it but it's not worth upsetting yourself over it .
This is one of the dumbest whiniest things I've ever read... the music industry was built on covers and eras where most performers were not writers themselves, but merely the conduits for the work of others... I suppose CRAZY by Patsy Cline is less brilliant because it was written by Willie Nelson. The context of this version of the song, BTW, is a high school band doing a Cheap Trick cover... infact, the very heart of this movie is ABOUT music (you could ask Bowie if he was still with us!)
@@stormbringer67 This is from the movie "Bandslam" and there is no attempt to make this appear as if it is original. The scene is about a high school band playing a classic rock song as high school bands do. YOU ARE OVER-REACTING! And I like this version of the song and her singing. She didn't become a singing star from this. She is an actor. It was a movie from 2009.
