I got the amazing opportunity to go backstage at a theatre near me and it was there that I found out that when a touring production visits a theatre they spray paint their poster on the walls backstage. Dear Evan Hansen put their own little spin on it. During intermission they take Evan’s cast off, and when they are about to move on to the next theatre, they hide the cast somewhere backstage. We ended up finding it and it was a pretty cool experience. They even had the cut along “CONNOR.” (If you’re curious, we found the cast hanging on one of the bars at the top of the ceiling of all places in a gigantic room used for transferring giant/heavy objects into and out of the theatre.)
LUCKY!!!! I would have gone up to it and been like “you saved my life” because ummmmm… quite literally….. 😶 But I’m okay I guess. As long as I have things like DEH and other stuff to keep my happy I’m fine. (For now…)
