What an amazing idea for a set! I love that they offer the ability to tell the story of the ship and also of its wreck! Also, not a traditional review, but I feel like you really showed everything I wanted to know in a very brief and convenient way. Well done!!
Mines on its way as I type. As a boy I LOVED Lego Pirates, I had quite lot of the different sets that when out in the 1989-1997 series, including 3 of the ships (I got the Dark Shark some years later as a reissue thanks to Lego Legends) most of the Indigo Islanders sets and Fort Sabre, along with lots of the little sets. Plus I also had the full set of the Ladybird story books, I did at one point also own the one shot comic book, thanks to my being in the Lego Club, but after a while I lost it somehow, which was a shame because I did enjoy reading it a lot. Sadly, many years later after I left home I lost my entire collection in a fire as they were being kept in storage, as I was moving house at the time and I was unable to afford to hire a big enough ran to transport all of my stuff over the large distance that I had to travel to get to my new home. As it happens, I lost all of my other Lego sets and other classic toys (I'm a big kid at heart, or maybe it's just the Aspergers....) that I'd kept, pretty much in mint condition (but still well loved and played with) ever since childhood, I even had a collection of 1990s Star Wars toys, a number of games consoles with games and in some cases accessories and a HUGE VHS library, happily I was able to replace the bulk of it thanks to DVD and Blu Ray (which I was going to do anyway) among a whole ton of other stuff, some of which I was also able to replace, such as clothing furniture and a hand full of my books (I'm a book person myself, thus I choose to take as many as I could with me in the hired minibus that I rented, I didn't drive it due to my meds, but a friend very kindly drove it on my behalf while me and my mum, of whom I was very close to, along with a support worker sat in the back with my stuff) I did get the full wave (barring the chess set of which I missed out on, sadly) of the 2014 series, and I was hoping that it would mean that there would be a full blown revival of the Pirates lines, but I was sadly disappointed. Hopefully this set will lead to a return of Lego Pirates soon.... Here's an idea, if this set works out why not do something for the Governors Solders? Perhaps there could be a set similar to this one, but instead of it being a ship wreak of the Sea Hawk dashed up on a ruin of Fort Sabre maybe it could be a castle mixed with a sort of harbour of which the ship could be part of the fortress, it could be held in place via some sort or jetty or dock that could be on a hinge, swing open the said hinge(s) and you'll have yourself a ship! That would be a nice companion peace to this set (of which I am looking forward to) just like how Lego did their own version of the Firehouse to go with Ecto 1 some years back.... I'll have to go now, because I have just begun to smell some gold nearby, so I'll just (literally) follow my nose, (just like Capt Roger) and see what I find... NB Just so you know, I'm from the UK, but you probably guessed that thanks to my use of the English names for the old sets and characters, which for me will ALWAYS be my 'proper' names that I'll use until my dying day (at least on Earth, then later God will give me a full set of the Pirates Lego among other things when I get to paradise, but that's another matter entirely...) if you want to call them by the 'new' names then that's fine, but for me Capt Roger is Capt Roger not 'Capt Brickbeard' and the same goes for the others.
Really cool silent review :) Love how you show the transformation from the wreck to the ship. Not as hard as some other reviewers have made it out to be.
Nostalgic. I used to play with the pirates set back in the early 1990s, and I am also fond of Pirates of the Carribbean and Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag. On top of that I used to visit the Carribbean as a teenager with my parents, so I am somewhat fond of the pirate theme, though I wouldn't consider myself a huge fan. That being said. this set looks awesome and very detailed and I love the idea that you can (re-)assemble the ship. You basically have a 2 in 1 set. Maybe I'll find shelf space for it. There is certainly not that much else to do in times of Corona.
This is probably the best set (so far) to come out this year! (In my opinion, all it's missing is another one of those small boats in dark blue and some Bluecoats.)
Awesome review! I really liked the style of it! I would watch these kind of reviews over traditional ones any day of the week! But it appears you have the wrong set number in the name of the vid. Love your content, keep up the fantastic work!
Love your works and the review format. One suggestion: could you add some personal opinions about the set in text like Sariel does in his technic set reviews?
Practically a 2 in 1 set! When I first saw it, meh, then see the ship! Ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooh yeah!
Yesterday, I got super hypet for Half Life Alyx and now THIS? This set looks SO AWESOME! I feel like my wallet is going to be empty for a while. Or... you know... more than uselly.
Very nice review and congrats that you got one - well deserved! Edit: A lot to (re)assemble if you want to convert to the ship. I thought it would go easier / faster. Still great set though, but I don't have the display space for it. Do you think it'll be worth it buying a copy and keep it closed as an 'investment'?
I'm sick of the channel you sent and the channel you upload to UA-cam I subscribe to the channel and I run the bell and I like every new video you upload and I also share every day
Personally, I´ve never been such a huge fan of pirates and their ships, but this set ABSOLUTELY blew me away with its awesomeness! I love it!
Same! This is just amazing set!
Must be nice to afford it
Yoda 1983 I agree
Thanks so much for your words, really appreiate it :)

Actually thinking about getting this set for christmas...
I like the way this worked out, as you could see the set in detail without a lot of the talking and over focusing.

Not only do I love the ship, I live the pirate port jam packed with detail
Oh now I feel silly... this isn’t one of your mocs
@@dragonslayercash3055 Haha, don't worry. I hope I can do something as cool as this someday.
Wow, congratulations on getting the review sample! I think we all dream of that!
And without doing a review!
Great video and great thumbnail ! The set looks amazing, with a lot of playability.
This is exactly what Lego needed

Hello
The number in the titel is wrong!
The set with the number: 75022 is the mandalorian speeder...
The correct number is 21322!
Oh.. I was doing somethign with the Mandalorian set and it seems I made this video in the same folder. What a fail.
