- Today we’re getting deep into the reasons why people love and hate “UA-camr resellers” and what we can do about it within our community and the drama it brings
There is a quote I heard not long ago "People want you to succeed, but not do better than them." I think some of the negative comments could be attributed to this. I have also noticed if I am in a bad state of mind I am more likely to be jealous. The happier I am, its less so to not being jealous at all. Some people may just be unhappy in their life so they feel the need to spread negativity. Good talk. Two thumbs up!

This drama is what keeps me from vlogging my journey into reselling. I want nothing to do with the drama and judgment and bickering, etc.

A lot of resell UA-camrs struggle with people disagreeing with them and I can tell which ones take themselves too seriously by how they respond to me.

The UA-cam resellers that receive the "hate" tend to be very unaware how pretentious they come off on camera.

I see this a lot on Reddit unfortunately, but to be fair a lot of miserable people hang out there (not all of course). I have seen the drama on UA-cam a lot lately, and one video in particular is getting a lot of attention. He does have his opinions though that a lot of people agree w/and can relate to, so that's okay. Continuing to take part in negativity like you pointed out, is just not the way. Another banger video ❤

There is an old saying, “those who can’t do, teach.” People see resellers shift their focus from recording the grind, to becoming a “celebrity” on YT. At that point, the reseller seems to become less motivated and genuine as a reseller, because they are now making more from videos.

THANK YOU!! Most of the mainstream reseller youtubers have helped me in my own reselling journey. Any knowledge is helpful in this industry and they are giving it out for FREE!! People are just jealous of other peoples success.
I cant think positively towards someone like Aussie Flipper who makes it harder for me as a reseller in Australia when he attacks and belittles thrift store staff in his videos.
And yes, numerous workers who know im a reseller have talked to me about it.
This whole bs that its 'jealousy' is such a lame excuse people throw around rather then directly looking at the things they do to attract the negative attention.
Do a video on heckin steve...the negativity is sometimes warrented.
Some people that are actually rude or mean don’t apply to the context of this video :) however I don’t think just because someone is mean or rude warrants us as people to do the same. We can choose to be the better person. Thanks for watching

Negativity and drama will never go away because that is what people want to see and youtubers know it. That is what people click on and it generates views and money for the creator. Much more than sunshine and roses. One person creates a video and then some creators get triggered, create a reaction video and so on and so on. Pretty soon, you have 20 videos all feeding off the same drama with everyone rushing to see who commented what about whom and who is fighting with whom. That is human nature and youtubers profit off of it. Like a mini reality show within the reselling community. It happens in all niches of UA-cam. It may be noble to want to change it, but try convincing all the people who earn their money by doing that, to stop. And then try changing human nature.

Heck yeah. This is good stuff. I wish more people had the desire to lift others up and not needlessly tear others down. Rising tides and what not.
I think that when people leave negative comments they either aren't doing well in life , in business or just don't want to believe that someone else is making money without doing "traditional" work
I think alot of "hate" comments come out of jealousy more than anything.... especially when it comes to awesome scores these UA-camr resellers come across.

great video i honestly stop watching some just because there content is about drama about other resellers, thats what is sad when people dont see that every one is one team n are passing the ball to others, but sadly people wont change ,,

That title worried me at first 😂 but totally agree with what u said.. but honestly I wouldn't have even knwn all the grumpy Gus's existed if they weren't acknowledged so often. While I'm sure they are noisy and irritating I think they're a relatively few and probably have some mental health or other issues going on.
one thing that is becoming apparent is that the real money in reselling is from UA-cam monetization and various sponsorships and viewers pity buying the stuff.

1000% why do you think Technsports started to do YT only after he is winding down his eBay reselling? because most that are killing it on Ebay are not doing YT or don't have time to do YT
@@PabloDiabloTreasures 1000% Majority of sellers make $50k Or less AFTER ALL business expenses I.E. your true True NET Not just what ebay or any other platform sends to your bank there are MANY expenses you have to account for from that money (meaning deduct it from that money sent to your bank) to get your True True net which is what you can spend for your own personal use
@@PabloDiabloTreasures yup! I'm making more than when I worked 9-5 at the DMV selling clothing and putting in about 5 hours of work 6 days a week. When I lost my job at the dmv almost 3 years ago, I was making $19 an hour.

2 things. 1. social media has changed the world. not always in a good way. 2. written word doesn't always come across the way you mean it. I commented in a genuinely helpful way to a creator who seems very nice on camera. they replied rudely to my 3 different comments (about different things). I assume they were having a bad day with comments and didn't read my comment the way they were intended. but I've gotta say, I see this creator differently now. lol
For sure I can see how interpretation can be a solid reason for misunderstanding but I still think overall there is too much hate amongst our own “group” as resellers which is crazy to think about. Thanks for watching!

You seem to be very upset about this. I know you have heard it and its hard but you got to just accept there are negative people and ignore the comments. You can't make a video telling a troll to not be a troll or ask for a leopard to change its spots. If its just people trying to expose "misleading" resellers, I guess I don't mind it anymore then when calling out Goodwill when they are misleading as being a source for low cost items for people who don't have much money. It all depends on the comments that are upsetting you I guess.
No specific comments or people are making me upset I’m just passionate about seeing change and trying to help the community get better and be more encouraging towards each other. If a content creator is lying or misleading people that is different than the context I’m referring to in this video. I’m just trying to get people to think differently about how they spend their time and energy. Maybe focus more on their business and less on things they can’t change. I appreciate your comment and feedback!
