It's about the only sports league in America that has the reputation for using it's platform to push that narrative. This might surprise you but white kids have worshipped black athletes with posters on their walls for at least the last sixty years in almost every other sport on the planet that keeps it about the game. Holy Crap. These women are amazing. What a post game showing how losing is part of winning. Staying positive throughout. Not sitting there complaining about everything. When you play with CC you learn so much. Her team mates will go on to great things because they are learning from her how to be and look professional, not disgruntled former stars.

When the reporter first mentioned Angel Reese's name, their eyes and faces lighted up, like who you're talking about chump?. But kudos to both Caitlin and Angel as well as both team. They really gave us a treat. Enjoyed watching this game.

Very good interview. I like that CC complimented A Reese's gameplay. I like when our girls on Fever speak positively about other players where reasonable and possible. This loss was not our girls' fault. Well, defense sort of fell sometimes but it was a 1 point loss on the other team's court.

I love Caitlin right there! She answered every questions. She didn't shuck anything. You could see and feel the love for her team mates. She was honest in that they were able to get away with fouls in Atlanta, that she couldn't get away with elsewhere. I just wish the media or the fans (I think it's the media) stay out of it and quit lying. She does well all by herself.

Clark needs to shoot the ball a hell of a lot more than she currently is . She's an offensive juggernaut but all she does is pass pass pass which is OK up to a point but the problem is the overwhelming majority of the Fevers players Clark passes to DO NOT CONVERT !!!

I agree with all what Clark said. It's all about the team, believing in her teammates, etc. But the last quarter episode was calling for someone in the Fever lineup to take over the game as the Sky was getting runs after runs.
I think, right or wrong, Clark should have taken over in the times the Sky was closing the gap. Had I seen that at least I know the coach did something to stop the bleeding, so to speak.
We dont know whats going on. But there for sure something. You can see Caitlin frustration on the court, but interview always say the right things. Not like her coach that throws her players under the bus.
They were in the game right until the end . A shot or two , a free throw or 2 could have changed the outcome . Chicago executed when it mattered and Indiana didn't . They are a young team , this can be used to teach more then a win might have .
I saw most of the game and the last 2 minutes of the game and I didn't like the way it ended. I come to the conclusion that the Indiana Fever is a young team and like young teams they will need to learn how to finish out games. Also, young teams are still learning certain things in their game as they play each and every game on their schedule. The players must learn by their mistakes and store this information as they move forward.
Now, about the coaches, who should be qualified to coach in the first place, they owe it to themselves and their players to win the games that they play. If they neglect to do this,
then they should resign and let someone who is more qualified to take over.
5 points scored in the last 6.5 minutes. Ouch, these ladies have every opportunity to win that game.
A lot of that comes down to coaching. Fever got out coached at the end of the game, just my opinion.
Caitlin is playing at an all star level. Everyone outside of Boston can’t keep up. Worse is everyone seems intent on trying to shine because of the extra attention CC brings. Know. Your. Roles. Winning doesn’t seem to be a priority for many players or coach. Iowa overachieved because everyone played their role to perfection. A 3-4 shot/gm player wasn’t jacking up 15 shots when their role was 3&D. Set screens. Be ready to shoot in rhythm when wide open. Does this coach want to win? Keep her job? All offense should be run through CC.
bottom line: your STAR PLAYER has to take the big shots in clutch moments! CC taking the high road here
CC, during those stretches when Mitchell "can't hit a bull 🐂 in the ass with a machine gun!", STOP deferring to her!

Well ,I am a big fan of Clark, but these post game interviews are becoming redundant and disingenuous. However, I do not any way out of it. You cannot really believe she is ok with the role she is playing. the answer are the same almost every time... If I am CC. I looked to be benched. This Coach, the offensive strategy, her role on the team is affecting her. Even if she chooses not to see it. Her body language, the constant scratching her elbows and shoulders and touching her face are all indications deep down inside, she is hurting. She in a box. Because of the way she was raised it appears she will just grin and bear it. Unlike Reese to her benefit lets it out. And if the coach doesn't change her coaching philosophy this season is gone, and CC will be ready for the pasture. Hopefully, her father, who she has spoken so highly about will step-in. He has the power because CC can sit ride the season out and then play somewhere else next year if things don't change. She is the one filling the seats. but not for much longer if CCs role doesn't change. OH, she can finish with a respectable season but almost any player with skill can just be one of the team.
No reason to rip the Coach or the players of either team. This is exactly what pro sports needs, competition, drive, intensity, defense and runs to make the fans come to games.

When the players do a live interview after the game why do they have to read from a script? Who writes it and tells them what to say? Why can't they speak freely?
That's the stat sheet from the game, it's not a script. They're looking at their stats, their teammates' stats, and the other team's stats.

Caitlin did not take the final shot, because it was the coaches decision. And why should she take the final shot, when the ball is not being put in her hand more often during the game? Mitchell is part of the problem, rather than pass the ball, she goes up for shots whether she makes them are not. That coach should have been given a pink slip when she left the court. You do not blow a huge lead and let the opponent Free Throw their way to victory.
If something were to happen to CC, the WNBA would go back to it's dismal high school attendance again. CC has Class the league does not deserve. Even a Fan can see Coach Sides bless her heart needs a coach.
