Thankyou for sharing beginning stitches and doing a sampler!! I'm currently working on a sampler for a fabric book and it really helps to see it being done rather than trying to follow a book on embroidery stitches!! 😍
The ends are called Orts Catherine, you can use them for stuffing (once you have a jar full!), or adding into hand or needle felting or trap them between layers of organza...lots of creative uses for the ends rather than throwing them away!

Could you put the felt on a hoop?
It's easier to work felt on your hand Marta as it doesn't have a weave; I think putting it in a hoop would damage it 👍
