As an OU fan I am really looking forward to the Wisconsin vs Alabama game. I am extremely disappointed we didn't retain Tawee Walker and I expect him to be a difference maker in that game.
Here’s the problem. If the Badgers beat a ranked bama, they won’t get any credit for it. Just like when they beat up LSU in Lambeau, the excuse was LSU was bad.
They’ll use the run to set up the pass then flip to use the pass to set up the run. We have a stable of running backs. We have an improved receiving group. TVD doesn’t need to force anything, just distribute what the defense gives him. Our OC is good enough to play that fiddle, especially with a radio helmet. The problem is our schedule is tough this year, although we get 3 out of our 4 toughest games at home. 8-4 or 9-3 if all goes well.
As a Badger fan that actually watched all the games unlike these guys. Badgers should be slightly better than last season, that will mostly depend on how TVD plays. Offensive line should be solid, but how Mahlmann and Nelson can handle the speed rush will be the key factor on how the overall line play. Defensively they need some beef up front or guys to step up. Transfer linebacker should be solid, definitely better than last season. Should be good on the backend with Rico and Wohler leading a veteran unit.
Decent analysis. Glad to hear some respect for Wisconsin as they are a top program. Did you guys bring up the fact that the Badgers had to use a back-up quarterback in their bowl game against LSU that had hardly played a snap? I mean you want to talk about why the Tigers got pressure on the QB, I mean this guy was undersized and couldn't really scramble or get rid of the ball. He didn't have very good quarterback sense so that would be a big reason why. Hopefully Van Dyke comes out with a chip on his shoulder and, with experience to draw from, that helps him light a fire under the team too. If that was to happen it could make the Badgers are really hard team to handle this year.
Does this one guy even know anything about Wisconsin other than generalizations? This goof mentions more LSU names and talks about Miami more on a show about Wisconsin. I'm not watching this show again after this popped up on my feed.
And some really bad generalizations, at that. Obviously did not watch Jack Nelson outside of highlights and our D-line was anything but "dudes". 2024 is still going to be a rebuilding year, but I think we surprise a couple of times and end up 8-4, which, given the schedule, isn't half bad. I'm just excited to see all the recruiting prowess start to pay dividends as our young players develop. 2025 could be very, very special.
Penn State has the same problem as my Badgers......how good is the QB? TVD and Allar have potential, but neither has truly realized that potential. If both are awesome...or both are mediocre, the game will be crazy close.
I don’t see why everyone is high on Nebraska. Yes they have talent but them as a program has been a disappointment. I’m not sure raola makes the difference in a team that has struggled. Same for Iowa. Yes the defense is going to be great as it always is but switching up OC isent always they answer year one. Look at the badgers switching to Longo was not smooth and honestly haulted expectations last year. I got Wisconsin losing 3 games to Bama,Oregon,Penn state
Nebraska is going to have a real nice defense. They just need their offense not to be horrendous. Tbf the same goes for many of the former Big Ten West teams..
@@ruffinoandjoeshow because an underrated B1G team isn’t behind in the 4th quarter and doesn’t have an offensive play longer than 16 yards to a mediocre MAC. They generally look like a mid to lower team in the conference. Exactly where they are predicted to be. Underrated… Nope. Rated correctly being unranked in top 25. Yes.
Underrated???? After underwhelming performances in their first 2 games they get smoked at home by Alabama. USC will thump them too in 2 weeks. This is a 4-8 or 5-7 team at best. No bowl game this season. The Fickell hire looks like a huge mistake right now.

TBH our freshman RB is better than him. Dupree is off the chain but Tawee is nice.
Tawee has been a revelation in badger camp. Dudes gonna have a 1000 yd season if he stays healthy
The other slot Trech Kekahuna tore up LSU in the bowl game also. Pauling and Trech will be a tough match up for almost everyone.
Here’s the problem. If the Badgers beat a ranked bama, they won’t get any credit for it. Just like when they beat up LSU in Lambeau, the excuse was LSU was bad.
Bama will beat Wisconsin like they stole something. They have more 5-star recruits sitting on the bench than Wisconsin has had total in its history.
Don’t forget wisconsin has a solid backup QB won’t turn it over but won’t be spectacular
As a badger fan it rlly depends on the qb play if tvd is not good wr will be 6-6, if he’s good we’ll be 8-4 or 9-3

Talk about LSU a bit more on a show about Wisconsin

They play Bama week 3, have a bye week, and USC week 5. Not “weeks 1 & 2, Bama & USC.”
I think he didnt count the two cupcakes in week 1 and 2, real season starts after those two games anyway

@@ForrestAguirreunfortunately, our 2025 schedule will be even more difficult
@@nightmares356 and with the recruiting Fickell"s staff has done, we will be better prepared, with WAY more talent.

Barely getting by WMU right now
As a Wisconsin fan I only see them going 8-4 at best but probably 7-5
That is fair
Luke can really coach, if we don’t come in ready we could leave with a L.
Sadly, this didn't age well fellas. On Wisconsin
But can they beat bama ?
Hope so, hard to say how milroe will perform this season but I imagine he’ll be good
Bama is done, an entire neq coaching staff.
Yes, but only a 10% chance.
@@dimitri1515 how’d you calculate that
@@jdtheguitartist I figure if we played Alabama in 10 games, there is a good chance we could win one of them.

This isn’t aging well. I think WI is where they should be… Unranked.
how can you say it isn't aging well yet when they haven't even lost a game? Weird flex

Nope. 5-7
Not underrated. 7-5
Wisconsin is overrated! They'll be lucky to win 6 games with that schedule.
Wisconsin will be lucky to make a bowl this season
