    I love their nail strips, they last about 2 weeks for me and I use my fingers a lot for work. One tip about making them last longer - once the area near the tip of my nails start lifting I trim my nails and refile them. Nail clipper goes right through and looks good as new!

    They look so pretty, but I heard that you are suppose to put the thumb nails on last because we use the thumb to apply most of the pressure to the other nails. I guess it really doesn't matter. Whatever works. Your nails look really nice. I also like the Impress Press on nails.

    Hello mong!! Omg yes i feel u!! Gelish nail polish damn mafan but i waited for the nails to grow then slowly trim off because i lazy to go back the nail salon to get them removed😂 and omg the nail designs are really super chio!! 😍

      Sheryl the worst part is when the back flips and your hair gets caught in there all the time BUT you can’t remove them yourself 😭

    Ahhhh! The clarity in your voice. I was just wondering Mong, if you memorise exactly what you wanna say in the video prior to shooting, or generally just practice your pointers and improvise (since I believe you’re so knowledgeable on these topics and I admire you so much for that) or what other methods do you use to be able to speak so clearly? It inspires me so much to be able to speak with such clarity and confidence for my future presentations in uni. Ahhhhh I’m a fan 🥺🥰 also! I’m not a fan of nail art myself but I enjoyed this video, as usual. Super pretty nails, makes me wanna try them! ☺️ however, what do you do with the other nails that don’t fit your nail size? Haha!

      @mongabong  4 роки тому +1

      mixhelleee thank you dear! It helps a lot when you know your topic inside out, that way you internalise and they’re not just words to you, that helps with the flow and it’ll also make sense! I don’t usually practice before a video, unless it requires me to memorise things that I’m not used to 😂 but even if so, practice makes perfect and the more you verbalise it, the more it sinks in. Hope this helps!! For the nails that don’t fit for a particular finger, they’re usually ok to still be used on another because the differences are so slight. Just a bit of filing and clipping, you can still make them work!

      MONGABONG thank you so much for sharing these tips, Mong! 101% agree with you and I’m gonna practice and practice for my future presentations and make sure I know the topic inside out so it’s more like me sharing my knowledge, which I believe will be more effective (rather than just try to spill everything I memorised by heart without understanding).

    Thanks for this. I saw a gel strip brand today that requires the UV lamp. Wonder what the difference is. As for those who find the press on nails getting tangled in the hair when shampooing, would it be good to do a few coats of clear polish over the nails to seal the gaps? Unless the press ons are matt, of course. Clear polish does have a high gloss effect

    Does your hair get stuck on your press on nails when you are washing your hair? I feel like that’s the most annoying part of press on nails due to the “gaps” between the my real nails and press on nails.

    • @mongabong
      @mongabong  4 роки тому +1

      CARINE950920 they will eventually when they start lifting off! When that happens I’ll remove them and change new ones 🤗 haha usually takes about 5-7 days for me!

    Thanks for sharing as I have been wondering about this brand! Haven’t been able to go to my nail salon for my usual gel mani and pedi.. my nails look horrible now. I tried buying some gel nail polish and UV light.. too much effort and time spent on doing my own nails. Seriously I rather go to a nail salon, but with the Circuit Breaker phase 1 the nail salons aren’t open yet. This looks like a good alternative.

    hi mong, when the magic press ons drop off, can they be reused?
    would you recommend these dashing diva ones where the adhesive is already there, or ones like khaki olives which we have to paste the adhesives ourselves? Or maybe like what's the difference since you've tried both brands? :) is it one is thinner & another feels thicker?

    • @mongabong
      @mongabong  4 роки тому +3

      ayayaya its me they have to be disposed! Because the adhesives actually come with the nails, but the box comes with 30 tips so you can easily find a replacement! Compared to khaki olives, this is much thinner, which hugs my curved nails better. These are however not hand made like KO’s, and are also less sturdy, which is also why they’re much more affordable! If you’re looking for a quick and affordable one to match your outfits and change up easily, this is good!

      Charissa Chua agreed!! My toe nails lasted 2 weeks even and I actually removed them voluntarily for a change of Color 😂 I’m guessing we use our hands more than our feet that’s why!

    i tried the press-on nails before and i find it a bit hard to put on contact lens and hv some trouble when washing my hairs LOL probably coz there is still little glue on the exposed nails so the hair always sticks to my nails HAHAHA

    • @mongabong
      @mongabong  4 роки тому

      Hahaha yes contact lenses are indeed a little bit harder, i would recommend going for the short style or the gel strips!!

    I also file down the little nub that is on the end of each nail. That nub is just from the manufacturing.

    I tried the magic press on but it doesn’t fit me well as I have really long nail bed, the press on slim fit barely covers my nails. I ended up wasting my money. Nail wrap works better for me.

    Drives me nuts when people pick nails that are too big. They look like they are just sitting on top of your fingers. Not a great look
