CREATE AND INNOVATE Stage 1: Creative explorations

Our 𝘾𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙚 & 𝙄𝙣𝙣𝙤𝙫𝙖𝙩𝙚 youth social action programme in Southampton involves young people leading on creative campaigns, addressing LGBTQIA+ healthcare disparities and period taboo through creative mediums such as verbatim theatre, art, storytelling, poetry & music.
Our programme aims to promote accessible healthcare, normalise conversations, and create a fairer society for future generations through youth-led video campaigns which will eventually be shared with local stakeholders & decision makers.
We are proud to release our first video as part of the 𝘾𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙚 & 𝙄𝙣𝙣𝙤𝙫𝙖𝙩𝙚 series, showcasing some amazing young people exploring ideas around healthcare inequities for the #lgbtqia community, led by Southampton Young artists, Imani Okoh (24), Kit Miles (22) and Emily Hindle (27).
