He was put to death for those four murders but don't forget that in 1992 he murdered his parents too and he was a suspected serial killer.

Death row inmates cost on average approx $70,000.00 per year, depending on medical conditions could be much higher. For 27 years, that’s approximately $1,900,000.00 the taxpayers have paid for this fella. That’s not including the legal fees for all those years.

$33,274 is closer to the average. a chronically homeless person costs $35,578. gotta do something with them ;) the injection is like $86... i'm more interested in the fact that four countries were responsible for 94% of executions: China, Iran, Saudi Arabia, and the United States. the sheeple in the usa think its a good thing having everybody constantly locked up and charging a president with 30 some odd felonies. the prison system in america, china, iran, and saudi arabia are jokes. 🤣🤣🤣

If it weren't for all the appeals they're allowed it would cost a lot less. I blame the lawyers and the activists.

Whether or not people have "stopped murdering" is completely irrelevant to the quiestion of whether we need executions. In fact, there are many countries with murders that don't use a death penalty: such as Canada, Norway, and Germany.

Note, that he himself asked to get executed. He specifically urged his defense team not to intervene and not to file further appeals - the defense argued that these actions should be considered as evidence of mental illness grave enough for the sentence to be commuted.
Maybe the dude just wanted to get it done.

one of the reporters makes an important point to note I've not heard mentioned. Is that a reason to oppose the death penalty is because there is a possibility of if being used on someone who may have been wrongfully condemned in that off chance.
