amazing video, thank you! i was curious about nitrile as ive seen it used a lot in medical settings, but i had no idea what it was. this video is exactly what i was looking for!
Dear Felix, There are many rubber materials can be used in vacuum. It depends on vacuum level. For example, Most of the rubber can handle High vacuum 1×10^−3 to 1×10^−9 Torr "for a short period of time". Silicone, FKM ua-cam.com/video/Z9wFIjcGc8g/v-deo.html is commonly used in this vacuum level. If we talk about vacuum property we will need to look into "permeability" and "outgassing". Please let us know if you want to know more. This is a fun topic!
Hi David, Thanks for the comment. (New Add) Yes, HNBR can be used in water application. Actually, NBR can work perfectly on daily plumbing application. We also offer plumbers pack on Amazon. :P Nitrile Rubber(NBR) is different from Hydrogenated nitrile (HNBR). Long story short, HNBR is developed to improve chemical and temperature resistance and also good mechanical properties. And of course, HNBR have a higher cost. \($_$)/ The most significant difference from HNBR and NBR are High-temperature rating, common NBR served up to 100°C/212°F, HNBR served up to 150°C/302°C. We are preparing all the rubber material information on our channel, thanks for supporting us.
@@sisdavid Hi David, It is our pleasure to answer any questions about sealing and rubber technology. As I said in the video ua-cam.com/video/yXWa1VIycE8/v-deo.html It is my passion! Stretch: officially I have to say "it depends" (We are also preparing this topic video as well). Role of thumb, no more than 10% stretch on HNBR. Keep in mind, the more stretch it will reduce sealing lifespan.
Dear Abah, I would refer to LORD Chemlok product line. Their technical sales is super nice. Steel has tons of variety, I would refer to Chemlok to give you the best guidance.
@@theo-ringguy6172 sir as expert on elastomer, please advise me suggested supplier neoprene/ FKM sheets can provide certificate test as well. Im looking neoprene sheets for pipe clamp temperature more tha 100C. Also adhesive glue to apply on steel surface.
It is possible to use Nitrile rubber with Nylon. There are many ways to "integrate" rubber with Nylon. The most common one is we called "Fabric reinforced Seal", a composite seal. It is a gasket which mold rubber on/with a sheet of Nylon fabric. It's like a steel reinforced concrete, it can significantly enhance physical property and life. Let me know if you want to know more about this. We are working on a new video with some hands-on demo. :P A little bit delay recently.

Great job on the audio!!
😂
Great video, just mind audio level :)

I'm impressed with the video, even though I'm not much wiser about what Nitrile Rubber is than I was before watching it.
are the fumes toxic if cut with a hot knife? thanks
Is nitrile can be expose prolong in petrol? Submersible in petrol?

@@theo-ringguy6172 hey sir can you help me with explanations
Can this be used as a o-ring in water application. Is this the same thing as hnbr? I got some hnbr o- rings from harbor freight. They are hnbr

@@theo-ringguy6172 great videos. I'm a small business trying to source liquid nitrile for gloves. Can you recommend?
The content is amazing, but you maybe need a audio compressor hardware/software to save the audiences' ears😂
I know~ this was an early mistake, sorry about that~ and thanks for the suffering
No, compressers would increase distortion. It would be a filter or limiter.
So this is the guy over the loudspeaker on the subway. 🤔
Good explanation.
Thanks for your feedback :)
