This is a breakout movement for talk shows - I love it! RuPaul knows how to engage the audience and guests in a way no one has before it's amazing
I really hope Ru gets to be able to continue this series. I feel like its a natural progression and a media that I will definitely watch, even though I don't watch Talk Shows typically.
I remember (I think) when Wendy Williams was working a summer preview on FOX% in NYC. I remember watching her first few shows and thinking, "Nice try. This will never fly." And we all know what happened after that.
Watching these first few episodes, I sorta' thought the same thing. But then this episode was everything I had hoped for with this show.
Ru's camera ready (always has been) and quick on a mic. (And feet.) Adding Michelle and Ross to the mix is a sweet touch for fans who recognize both of them from years with Ru. The feeling of the show is basically the 1990's VH-1 "RuPaul Show" all grown up.
This selection of guests was BRILLIANT! It's everything daytime talk shows often demand, but not generic.
This episode won me over.
Loni Love is always genius.
