Me sitting here screaming for somebody to say Ken Griffey Jr for Mariners/White Sox. Also I absolutely thought Rony was going to say Reggie Jackson for A's/Yankees. Another reminder that I'm very much Team Old in the Jomboy Universe
Jolly, hope you see this, a great addition to this game is being able to take a square back to being empty by also getting a different player that fits
Would love to see the grid somehow let the fans get involved with the group. I don’t know how but man it would be fun to be able to participate in any way with this amazing company ♥️
BOS NYY: David Wells, BOS CWS: Andrew Benintendi, BOS KCR: Johnny Damon. SEA NYY: Robinson Cano, SEA CWS: Mike Cameron, SEA KCR: Kendrys Morales. OAK NYY: Jason Giambi, OAK CWS: Ray Durham, OAK KCR: Vida Blue.
NYY-BOS: Jacoby Ellsbury CHW-BOS: Chris Sale KC-BOS: Andrew Benintendi NYY-SEA: Robinson Cano CHW-SEA: Ken Griffey Jr KC-SEA: Jarrod Dyson NYY-OAK: Cory Lidle CHW-OAK: Liam Hendriks KC-OAK: Billy Butler
I only know this because I'm a Royals fan, but Raul Ibanez and Jarrod Dyson played for both Kansas City and Seattle. I believe Mike Montgomery may have played for both as well.
Much like the short lived video series of MLB Pickle (where pretty much noone knew how to play it)... I think you need to give out some lessons on how to play Tic Tac Toe, Jolly. This was absolutely infuriating to watch. You've got an amazing concept here being let down by people who don't know how to play.
Wow, who would have thought the Yankees and Red Sox would have been the 2 bottom teams in the AL East? If I had been playing, my Yankees choices would have been: Red Sox - The Babe, Mariners - The Big Unit, Athletics - Mr. October. I don't know when you taped this, but when I watched this, Vida Blue had just died in the past day or two, so he would have been my Athletics and Royals choice. Red Sox and White Sox would have been Pudge. No, not Ivan Rodriguez but the guy who won Rookie of the Year in a year in which the last name of the other league's Cy Young Award winner was the same as this Pudge's first name.
Jimmy, Jake, I can't believe you didn't say Raul Ibanez. You met him. I watched you listen to him talk about playing in KC and Seattle...and the Yankees And what the hell did Steinbrenner trade Jay Buhner for!?
Idea: Whenever someone says a name, put the player's head in the line by their name (regardless if it is correct or not) and if it's right it stays but if it's wrong it disappears. The way it's done now, once the head appears I know it's correct even before it's been confirmed by the people playing the game.
I want to like this channel. I really do. But when eight baseball "experts" get a shot at naming a player that was both a Red Sox and a Yankee and not one of them immediately says "Babe Ruth", I'm not sure we were meant to be. Apparently, knowing baseball before this century is as daunting as knowing how tic-tac-toe works...
Same here, I just remember the commentary at the time and how now that middle starters were getting $10M per it was going to be a whole new world of FA.
please consider some attention to the audio in these episodes...maybe get the guys clip-on mics or just instruct them to talk straight into the ones on the desk. it's really hard to hear some guys and then other guys are impossibly loud by comparison
Fun Fact: Carlos Santana played on both the royals and Mariners in the same season. Would've been a great callout for anyone here
I was SCREAMING Carlos Santana
Gil meche! Raul Ibanez!
@@organicorange37 same
@@geofflitwin9020 Ibanez!!!! He’s always overlooked😓
I was screaming Mike Sweeney for Seattle-KC. Boston-KC would be either Benentiendi or Damon. A's-KC either Butler or Zobrist.
All 4 corners can be Johnny Damon I love it.
Some terrible tic tac toe play today smh.
This was tough to watch.
The only winning move is not to play.
Benintendi in the first line
Making this game versus made it SO much more entertaining!
White Sox and a Mariner: "Me when I'm getting dressed on a boat."
This is the humor that I come to the JB empire for.
Me sitting here screaming for somebody to say Ken Griffey Jr for Mariners/White Sox.
Also I absolutely thought Rony was going to say Reggie Jackson for A's/Yankees.
Another reminder that I'm very much Team Old in the Jomboy Universe
That was me also, but Ichiro for Yankees/Mariners
Same for me with Jeff Nelson for Yankees/Mariners. Got traded between both organisations twice!
Thank you Jolly for all the Tic-Tac-Toe, MLB Connect and Ref Guess games! They are so fun.
Me sitting here screaming Carlos Santana at jom and Jake 😂
kendrys morales too
Jolly, hope you see this, a great addition to this game is being able to take a square back to being empty by also getting a different player that fits
The fact Raul Ibanez was not mentioned until almost 12 minutes in was KILLING me. He works for 3 teams on here!
No Babe Ruth and no Rickey Henderson killed me
Was expecting at least one Billy Butler pull for A's/Royals... good episode nonetheless
I was thinking him or Billy Burns
Zobrist
Rony: we all know who I'm about to say. Me: Reggie Jackson. Rony: Jason Giambi
I thought Rickey Henderson
@@sebastianbaquero7227 i thought Frankie Montas lmao
This was fun! A good one for Royals and Oakland would be Ben Zobrist. Did not expect anyone to make the Johnny Damon connection to the Royals.
I believe Zo was attempting to think of "Kendall Graveman".
I was screaming Ichiro, Griffey Jr, and Carlos Santana the whole time
Can’t believe no one went Babe Ruth, Ichiro, Jason Giambi for the easy win on the left side
First one I thought of for KC/SEA was Mike Sweeney
My favorite baseball player as a kid.
I didn't know Sweeney played for the Mariners. That's pretty cool.
Nice. Jose guillen for me
“Who’s the Frank” literal hall of famer with 521 home runs. Jesus
what the hell was Jake thinking by not going Boston-KC in the first round
Ellsbury - Sale - Bill Buckner (this was my problem square this time)
Paxton-Encarnacion-Santana
Donaldson-Andrus-Damon
I don't know what was worse: your struggle to name players or your ability to play tic-tac-toe
Would love to see the grid somehow let the fans get involved with the group. I don’t know how but man it would be fun to be able to participate in any way with this amazing company ♥️
How did nobody come up with Griffey jr. for Mariners/White Sox?
nobody remembers griffey as a white sock, only as a red or a mariner
Griffey Sr. could have worked for Yankees-Mariners.
Because everyone who is on this channel has only been a fan since like 2006
@@CritterOverYonder 2006 is quite generous, more like 2015.
Because who the hell remembers junior as a white Sox? Wasn't that when he was falling asleep during games
I love when he confirmed that Elvis Andrus, a current White Sox player, played for the A's and then nobody guessed him for that grid
I was thinking Mike Montgomery for that Mariners Royals connection... Cubs WS Legend! 😄
Carlos Santana was my Seattle royals pick
BOS - johnny damon, chris sale, benintendi
SEA - ichiro, aj pollock, carlos santana
OAK - montas, marcus semien, richard lovelady
Entire top row could be Andrew Benintendi...
Stephen Drew, Chris Sale, Andrew Benintendi
Robinson Cano, AJ Pollock, Carlos Santana
Jason Giambi, Marcus Semien, Jermaine Dye
How is playing good tic-tac-toe the harder aspect of this game for the office lmfao
I aged 20 years watching that second matchup
Why is no one talking about how Jake could have won if he named Boston and KC first?
I love the tic tac toe format! Can we get a W-L standings update at the end of the episode?
We want to see Max play this
BOS NYY: David Wells, BOS CWS: Andrew Benintendi, BOS KCR: Johnny Damon. SEA NYY: Robinson Cano, SEA CWS: Mike Cameron, SEA KCR: Kendrys Morales. OAK NYY: Jason Giambi, OAK CWS: Ray Durham, OAK KCR: Vida Blue.
NYY-BOS: Jacoby Ellsbury
CHW-BOS: Chris Sale
KC-BOS: Andrew Benintendi
NYY-SEA: Robinson Cano
CHW-SEA: Ken Griffey Jr
KC-SEA: Jarrod Dyson
NYY-OAK: Cory Lidle
CHW-OAK: Liam Hendriks
KC-OAK: Billy Butler
jake with an all time choke job, benintendi was right there ftw
Morales and Billy Butler were on my mind the whole time.
I only know this because I'm a Royals fan, but Raul Ibanez and Jarrod Dyson played for both Kansas City and Seattle. I believe Mike Montgomery may have played for both as well.
Johnny Damon was drafted by the Royals. For Seattle-KC, my favorite player of all time Mike Sweeney.
As an NL fan watching these AL people name AL people is like watching them talk about another game. Except for Frank Thomas. I remember The Big Hurt.
Rony vs Dan is the matchup we all need
love the vs
You know it's a cold day in hell when the Os aren't mentioned in the same breath as "worst teams in the league"
Do these people not know how to play Tic-Tac-Toe?
Yeah, brutally
True but they also might not have been able to think of someone at that moment
This game requires you know the specific combo of teams they played for in order to get the spot. It’s not easy.
@@mbdg6810 And also with a 30s time limit. You'd be surprised how much your brain will lock up on you under time pressure
Well this game also adds the factor that you must know a player in order to play at a certain spot, so if you can't think of someone, you're screwed.
There’s no shot Jake completely ignored the fact he could’ve won just to block for no reason
Watching Zo and Jack is insanely frustrating. Good edit putting BBD after you can showcase someone who actually knows how to play tic tac toe
Raul Ibanez could've fit for Seattle and KC
"dude you just hate rules"
The second half of this video was hard to watch
Jake going for the as Yankees instead of saying Benny to win is suspendablem
Oh hey my White Sox are in this video.
*hears grid topic* God damnit
4:28 screaming Raul

I’d love a longer bracket episode to determine an actual winner
The fact nobody mentioned RobCanó for Yankees/Mariners keeps me crazy.
Ken Griffey jr played on the white Sox, that was a miss by Jack and Zoe
That freaking joke jack made got me good. Freaking jack
Jimmy had two guesses on his last turn that’s dirty lol
damon-sale-offerman
ichiro-pollock-montgomery
henderson-andrus-appier
Ken Griffey Jr is my go to for Seattle and Chicago
andrew benintendi would’ve worked for the whole top row haha

Wow, no love for Willie Bloomquist 😂
Seattle/Kansas Raul Ibanez.
Jake Diekman for royals athletics is a must
Funny that Zo guessed Andrus, but incorrectly placed him. So close, yet so far...
CWS/SEA Ken Griffey Jr
BOS/NYY I'm pretty sure Babe Ruth
NYY/SEA Ichiro
Cmon guys Raul Ibanez (Former Yankee) also played for the Mariners and Royals
Jarrod Dyson, Carlos Santana either one royals and mariners
6:44 guy on the left looks like a guy named Cyr on twitch
Wade Boggs Ellis Burks Jose Offerman
Randy Johnson Mike Cameron Gaylord Perry
Jason Giambi Kendall Graveman Jermaine Dye
Hope you guys do NL as well
Mine would have been Babe Ruth, Ichiro and Reggie Jackson. Tic-tac-toe, bitches.
Great video
Floyd Bannister for the win, baby!
Jake could have won going Benintendi right? Tough look for Dan
Jason Vargas for the Seattle KC stumper
Jarred Dyson is my favorite Royal/Mariner
Johnny Damon played for the Royals longer than any other team Jimmy!
Mike Sweeney
the way i was screaming kendrys morales
Song at the beginning?
Raul Ibanez another big Royal/Mariner
Can't hear what Jake guessed for Yankees - Red Sox but it doesn't look like Clemens....
I got the grid done in 1 minute 20 seconds
BRO WHAT, JAY BHUNER, ICHIRO, RANDY JOHNSON, AROD, TINO MARTINEZ ROBINSIN CANO. HOW WAS THIS NOT AN ISTALOCK
gabe speier is a good one for mariners royals.
Jake!!!! Had benintendi for the win
Jarrod Dyson KC/Sea
Screaming Gil Meche in the first matchup
Or Yuniesky Betancourt

Rickey Henderson was such an easy A’s Yankees
Does Jake know how to play tic-tac-toe?
Jarrod Dyson for Royals and Mariners.
Raul Ibanez played for seattle and kc right?
No love for Willie Bloomquest 😢
Randomly Gil Meche was the first one I thought of for Royals/Mariners
