I gave myself one minute to think of names before other people and manny machado was the only person I could think of proud of that performance
this was me with Ken Caminiti
Oddly my brain thought of Rougned Odor for SD-Baltimore first
EDIT: glad Dalton shares my brain
I’m an O’s fan and I immediately thought Freddy Galvis
@@LeMenace1 Tejada, Arrieta, Cruz, Alomar, Steve Finley, Randy Myers.
Lol
How did nobody say Eddie Rosario for the Braves lmao
Was hoping someone pulled Nick Swisher or even the forbidden name of John Rocker
David justice and Kenny lofton were good ones too
Josh Tomlin was one I thought of
BBD outta nowhere with the “that’s about how much I’ve had.” Got me good
There should be an edwin jackson penalty. If you guess him and you're wrong the round's over
And Octavio Dotel
@@shoukatsukaireally any renowned journeyman
or jesse chavez
YES
Kenny Lofton would've worked in any of the 4 squares in the top left and nobody guessed him
Surprised Cleveland and Atlanta was giving most ppl fits, David Justice was my insta lock and I was mostly stumped by the rest lol
Me too
Mine was Kenny Loftin, Javy Lopez for the orioles, BMac for the astros
Also Marquis Grissom for Atl. and Cleveland. And Ken Caminitti for Houston and San Diego.
I like the head to head for the top 2. The purely tic tac toe episodes were getting brutal and this is a nice decider for the winner.
Surprised no one guessed Josh Donaldson for Guardians/Braves
To be fair, his Cleveland tenure is a miniscule blip in his resume. People better remember his Atlanta tenure, which is saying something.
I mean, that box could have been Kenny Lofton, David Justice, Michael Bourn, Nick Swisher, Marquis Grissom, John Rocker, Alan Embree, Eddie Rosario, Steve Karsay, Chris Johnson, Brett Butler, Len Barker, Brook Jacoby.
And, that's just guys who were traded between Cleveland and Atlanta.
My guardians braves sleeper was Eddie Rosario
@@Gemnist98 dude was actually a stud while in Atlanta
Braves fan here that was just waiting on someone to say David Justice.
Michael Bourn was one of the guys I was thinking of who applied to some of the tougher ones!
Jordan Schafer too for the astros, Bourn could be Guards and Stros!
I'm surprised none of the guys guessed Eddie Rosario for the braves and the guardians with how big that trade ended up being and how much of an impact he had but I guess most people see him as a twin and a brave
My board was pretty obscure lol.
Kevin Millwood, Russ Springer, Javy Lopez
Brian Giles, J.R. House, Mike Gonzalez
Marcus Giles, Jason Lane, Rougned Odor
This stumped me hard. Cleveland and braves I got justice and Kenny lofton, crazy how nobody got that
They're young. Roberto Alomar and Joe Carter would have worked for CLE/SD, Bobby Bonilla for BAL/PIT, Doug Drabek for both HOU/PIT and BAL/PIT, Javy Lopez and Kent Mercker for BAL/ATL, and what the hell, Kevin Brown and David Wells for BAL/SD. Most of Jomboy's staff were still playing with their toes when these guys were in the bigs
@@madmanac Cannobio tho
Alomar is a really good one for sd/Cleveland, clevinger and Giles came to my mind who Giles could be for Pitt/Cleveland too. For Balt/Pitt my mind went kris benson first for some strange reason
“probably wears jeans when he plays baseball” best hunter pence reference man 🤣
I love this new format very fun this way here were mine but I didn’t time myself pretty sure I was over 5 minutes.
Josh Donaldson, Micheal Bourn Nick Markakis
Carlos Santana, Charlie Morton, Adam Frazier
Franmil Reyes, Steve Finley, Edwin Jackson
I feel like the last grid was so much easier too I got them all within a minute
Johan Santana Aaron Loup Jose Reyes
Nick Punto Albert Pujols Octavio Dotel
Kenta Maeda Howie Kendrick Hyun-Jin Ryu
Great stuff! I like the head-to-head at the end!
This was really good. The tic tac toe should be a sudden death final for whatever situation. Like it alot
Loved this format Jolly!!! Great video!!
Me yelling "BARTOLOOOOOOOO!!!!" at Jake...
Love the format Jolly. Great job as per usual
14:02 BBD is hilarious
This might be the best version yet! Keep it up Jolly!
Love the final showdown in this format!
Rickey Henderson for Mets/Blue Jays. He batted 315. And had 37 steals in 1999 with the Mets.
Grid one:
Row One: Bartolo Colon, Octavio Dotel, Nick Markakis
Row Two: Jeromy Burnitz, Moises Alou, Derrek Lee
Row Three: Sandy Alomar Jr, Ken Caminiti, Greg Myers
man i talk shit about daltons baseball knowledge but these grids always make me shut my mouth. he pulls the most obscure players instead of the obvious
as a padres fan my first three that came to mind were: Josh Bell for Cleveland (but there’s a bunch of options) Caminiti for Houston, and Jorge Mateo for the Orioles
almost exact same except i said Hedges for CLE lol
@@myk13bell, hedges, naylor, quantrill, clevinger, there’s sooooo many options for Cleveland 😭
Dang people really forgot about Pedro Alvarez, i knew that one right away for BIT and BAL.
Love this!
For Atlanta and Cleveland, Josh Tomlin and Eddie Rosario were two that came to my head right away
I kept screaming Kenny Lofton for Braves Gardians. I can't believe no one in the video heard me.
Jake getting Cruz and Frazier is all I needed to hear to confirm our brains work the same way 😂
I like this version the most
My first guess for the Braves Astros was Chris Johnson. Anyone else think him?
Also, nobody said Josh Donaldson for Cleveland/Atlanta.
Heck, I even got Manny Machadeo - but that was the only one I got... That was a good round, Jolly! Thanks.
I enjoy this new format!
Jose Bautista played for both Baltimore and Pittsburgh (along with the Mets and Royals) in his rookie season...
Don't know why or how I knew Billy Wagner for Braves and Astros but somehow I pulled that one out
I like this combined format
The best part is that Joez doesn’t seem to understand he’s the comic relief and is actually trying when all we want is to see him lose his sht
The New Format is awesome!!
I definitely love the obscure picks in my board
Michael Bourn, Evan Gattis, Kevin Millwood
Kenny Lofton, Gerrit Cole, Steve Pearce
Francisco Mejia, Bud Norris, Manny Machado
ATL/CLE = Eddie Rosario!
Marquis Grissom!
Swisher
This was perfect
I was expecting a Kenny Lofton answer for ATL and Cleveland
Awesome medium, Jolly.
Surprised nobody said David justice, lofton, Grissom for Cleveland/Atlanta, caminiti for San Diego/Houston, Pittsburg/Baltimore kris benson kept popping in my head. Brian Giles could of been for San Diego/Cleveland or Pittsburgh/Cleveland.
I was going old school, blurting out names like Justice, Lofton, Caminiti, Finley, Cater, Ausmus, and the Alomar brothers...
Caminiti I'm surprised didn't show up
I struggled really badly with this one. I'm gonna have to study up on my Central division teams
I NEED to play this with a group one day. I got one for each within 3 minutes. I put:
Josh Donaldson, Charlie Morton, Kelly Johnson
Josh Bell, Gerrit Cole, Adam Frazier
Franmil Reyes, Joe Musgrove, Jake Arrieta
yeah that's the best format for sure
Surprised no one said Bobby Bonilla for Baltimore and Pittsburgh.
I like this format
SMH, besides Cole, I thought the Braves/Cleveland one was the easiest. Kenny Lofton, Marquis Grissom. Who were traded for each other. Ken Caminiti for SD and Hou
My first thought was Nelson Cruz for Padres-O’s
Dave Justice Cleveland and Atlanta... Come on, guys!!!
This was good
I love these episodes. I feel old as hell though because the first players that come to my mind are from the 90’s and 2000’s and everyone guesses mostly current players. It amazes me that Kenny Lofton isn’t ever guessed.
Same here Cleveland/Atlanta I had lofton, justice, and Grissom
Kenny Lofton, Billy Wagner, Nick Markakis
Carlos Santana, Wandy Rodriguez, Adam Frazier
Mike Clevenger ,Derek Bell ,Manny Machado
Second Grid:
First Row: Johan Santana, Noah Syndergaard, RA Dickey
Second Row: JA Happ, Troy Glaus, Scott Rolen
Third Row: Brian Dozier, Albert Pujols, Shawn Green
Eddie Rosario was my cleveland atlanta pick
I was screaming Bartolo Colon at the end hoping Jake would get him 😂
For Braves-Indians I had Lofton/Justice, Braves-O's Surhoff. SD-Hou Caminiti. I forgot all Houston-Braves (McCann, Gattis were obvious in retrospect) instead of Hampton my mind jumped to Mike Stanton (lefty Mikes).
Yoo I was yelling will Smith for ATL and HOU!!!
Padres Houston- no one thought of musgrave until jake wow
Top: Michael Bourn, Jordan Schafer, Nick Markakis.
Middle: Roberto Perez, Wandy Rodriguez, Pedro Alvarez.
Bottom: Josh Naylor, Jordan Lyles, Manny Machado.
Love the new format!
For Mets-Angels (Eppler was a good one, Jake) the name that immediately came to mind was Kevin Appier.
Syndergaard was the first that came to my mind.
Nolan Ryan
Keep changing up the format and you'll be able to do a Connect Grid of Connect Grid formats
Theme Suggestion: The six teams that never won the World Series (Rays, Padres, Rangers, Mariners, Rockies, Brewers).
I had Jody Gerut on SD and CLE
Took a minute before it started and could get 6 of 9. Kinda struggled with the orioles. But Mark Malencon works for the entire Houston row.
For the Cleveland Teams I randomly got 3 Josh's in the form of Josh Donaldson, Josh Bell, and Josh Naylor and I don't know why lol
Michael Bourn, Will Smith, Nick Markakis, Carlos Santana, Gerrit Cole, Pedro Alvarez, Josh Naylor, Luke Gregerson, Manny Machado
I'm yelling Adam Frazier at my screen. What a weird day.
jake cooked the normal round just to forget nolan ryan in the championship
Nick Swisher - Mark Melancon - Nick Markakis
Ben Gamel - Gerrit Cole - Pedro Alvarez
Austin Hedges - Clint Barmes - Edwin "fits anywhere" Jackson
Thor, Jake! Thor!
I was screaming “Thor! Thor! Jake come on, it’s easy! Thor!” 😂
Did anyone else think about Josh Tomlin for ATL/CLE?
I was screaming Eddie Rosario for cleveland Atlanta haha. I feel like only Guards fans know
Josh Tomlin, Chris Johnson, Jim Johnson
Jordan Luplow, Gerrit Cole, Adam Frazier
Josh Naylor, Mark Melancon,Manny Machado
ATL-CLE: Josh Donaldson
ATL-HOU: Preston Tucker
ATL-BAL: Darren O'Day
PIT-CLE: Josh Bell
PIT-HOU: Francisco Liriano
PIT-BAL: Pedro Alvarez
SD-CLE: Brad Hand
SD-HOU: Cameron Maybin
SD-BAL: Manny Machado
Atl/Cle - Lofton
Cle/Pit - Brian Giles
Why doesn't everyone just guess Dotel for some of these? LOL
was hoping to hear someone throw ken Caminiti out there for Astros/Padres
NYM MIN: Eduardo Escobar, NYM LAA: Bartolo Colon, NYM TOR: Carlos Delgado. STL MIN: Nick Punto, STL LAA: Dexter Fowler, STL TOR: JA Happ. LAD MIN: Ron Coomer, LAD LAA: Tyler Anderson, LAD TOR: Curtis Granderson
Michael Bourn! Speed kills baby
Top row - Donaldson, Morton, Markakis,
Middle - bell, cole, nothing :/
Bottom - naylor, musgrove , machado
Kenny Lofton works for four of the squares on the board!!!
ATL CLE: David Justice, ATL HOU: Will Smith, ATL BAL: Nick Markakis. PIT CLE: Carlos Santana, PIT HOU: Joe Musgrove, PIT BAL: Pedro Alvarez. SDP CLE: Josh Naylor, SDP HOU: Steve Finley, SDP BAL: Manny Machado.
Everyone’s just casually forgetting Michael Bourn and he could’ve filled multiple spots
I got all Joshes on the left side. Donaldson/Bell/Naylor.
Will smith. Shelby miller. Brian McCann and that other catcher, the polar bear guy who was a janitor before he made the pros.
Between Dennis Martinez, Bobby Bonilla and Joe Carter, you could knock out most of these.
Josh Donaldson, will smith, Micheal Bourn
Carlos Santana, gerrit cole, Pedro Alvarez
Franmil Reyes, Joe musgrove, manny Machado
Noah syndergaard could have been used for two of those boxes at the end
David Justice for Cle/Atl
Jolly - can you believe the Astros have no players from Houston on their team? Crazy!
Dalton’s hairline is absurd lol
NYM : johan santana, francisco rodriguez, chris bassitt
st. louis : JA happ, albert pujols, steven matz
LA : brian dozier, tyler anderson, ross stripling
When in doubt, people should just say Rickey Henderson. Dude played for 10 different teams. First ballot journeyman. Lol
Really surprised Michael Bourn didn't pop up.
Popped into my mind immediately.
Stros legend!
@@shidditiddis indeed!
@@scruffythejanitor1969 same here.
Eddie Rosario, Will Smith, Nate McClouth
Roberto Perez, Gerrit Cole, ?
Franmil Reyes, Joe Musgrove, Manny Machado
