Hi Eugen, what can I say about W & B fountain pens and inks... For me there is something fishy about this brand. The fountain pens themselves, as far as I have had any of them in my hand, literally scream "cheaply produced in China". The feel, the tactile feeling and the workmanship... Everything screams "Chinese". Which doesn't necessarily mean anything bad. Anyone who knows my channel knows that I *LOVE* the Chinese fountain pens for what they can do given the often ridiculously low price. But then throwing them onto the western market at a rather overpriced price... Not the fine English way. And then there's the story of the inks. Made according to secret recipes passed down through the centuries by obscure monks... Well then, whoever believes it... I would like to philosophize with J. Herbin about this. It's the oldest active ink manufacturer in the world, what can they possibly know... In my opinion, the W&B brand is too dishonest and too suspicious for me to be able to recommend their products in good conscience. I also really don't want to support their "market strategy" financially.
The fountain pens, as I said, are definitely overpriced - considering you can find them for cheaper on AliExpress. That's why I don't know if is good to recommend them - but is good to advise the buyer and let them decide what they want. As quality wise... they are OK. Can't really complain from my point of view - they work, nothing special. Ink however I have to say is really not bad - I only have one though... so can't say much about it.
I enjoy photography as well. That old camera sounds nice. I'd like to see it in a video. Nice drawing as always. That green is bright. 😎 Lol.
I might use it in my first week out in January... maybe... 😅.
