As a fellow taurean house hunting does test your patience, not gonna lie you might feel like giving up at some point but trust me everything happens for a good reason and all that wait will be so worth it…It took me more than 3 years to buy my house, hope you will get yours soon ❤

Speaking from experience working in conveyancing, the fully renovated house is a major red flag. Something definitely must have up come up on the survey for them to then come back to you six months down the line and accept your offer which was £100k less!
It's probably best you didn't go for it! Good luck with finding another home! The market seems to be picking up again and so i'm sure there will be plenty of houses in the coming months :)
p.s a chain free house doesn't mean you'll get your keys in a month even tho the agents sell it to you that way! Usually around 8-12weeks for the conveyancing process & lots of things to consider like legal enquiries, searches, mortgages and surveys xx

Freya, you continue to be such an adorable girl. You're thinking is spot on about all things happening in their own time, when they are supposed to. It took me so much longer to come to that understanding. Now, I never push something because it usually does not turn out as I had hoped. 100% realness,looking for house in the state is such a headache,I can relate,i stopped after my 6th one,will try again next year ,and the weight is so true ,I use to lose weight so much easier before I had my son ,now if I finally loose 10ths,best believe I’ll gain 15 lbs just by looking at a donut😢

Hi Freya 💜 I wanted to ask abt the kitchen in ur house 🥹 I’m doing Reno now and looking into dark matte kitchen (that’s what you have, from what I’ve noticed). How’s it in day to day? Is it durable? Difficult to clean?
Contractors all say it will be fine, but am a bit pragmatic 😂

Ahhh exciting about the renno! 😍 well I’ve lived in this place over 2 years and truthfully I think the cupboards are SO easy to keep clean, much easier than white. The only time they show a mark is if water or a liquid drys on them and then in some lights you can see the drip mark but other than that they’re great! They aren’t smooth though, they’re like a textured matte black which I think helps for hiding finger prints etc ❤❤
