If you can barely keep up with the pocket on a phase 5, the fastest boards on earth, then forget it, the wave stinks. Save your money, buy an inboard. There's no replacement for a v drive inboard. And besides, this thing is absolutely fugly, and probably costs about the same as a decent inboard. I'd also be interested in upkeep, etc, as on an I/O pontoon it's an expensive nightmare. (Yup, I was a boat mechanic for years) I'd wager a guess it's also loud on board due to all the water smacking that aluminum bottom. Premier pontoons made a mono-aluminum boat for a few years, and it was like that. A terrible boat, handled badly, rode rough, and was loud. You don't want this thing.....
