Farmers protesting in Dublin on a Sunday when there's NO traffic ? Well for me it felt like the closest thing were ever gonna get to St. Patrick's Day again. Lots of cheering and waving.
Why the anti farming comments, every aspect of life depends on a farmer somewhere, the three F's food, fuel and fibre. Enjoy your breakfast, and coffee, all from a farmer.
It's an embarrassing day for irish farmers to protest and a Sunday making no statement but showing showing there tractors off to the Sunday walkers the ifa would want to take there heads out of their arses
Most of the people in Dublin and the politicians think you farmers a just a bunch of whiners. The only way farmers are going to get changes is if they form a political party. The country is crying out for an alternative. You should call it Alternative for Ireland.
Hardly. Dublin people are getting used to them. Farmers seem to be on our streets every couple of weeks, driving their shiny 100,000 euro tractors, while at the same time asking us to believe they're struggling to make ends meet. No one is falling for it anymore.
@@woodstock6944 if you had any cop on your realise that them farmers driving those fancy tractors have slaved years for them and are more or likely big dairy farmers or contractors them tractors aren’t on every farm

Kudos to the farmers. Growers and producers the world over should be doing this. learn from the French they do an outstanding job, the slurry tanker is typically emptied over the government buildings. Unfortunately subsidies were never the answer, they were a method to guarantee food supply, and possibly caused more problems than solutions.
theyre trying to cut herd sizes and a load of other shite, this protest wasnt publicised very well because they cancelled it a few days ago then said for everyone to bring tractors which i only found out about last night when it was too late lol
Bunch of liars. Every farmer I know here in Connacht, drives a new car and lives in a 4-5 bedroom modern house with acres of land around them. It's handouts is all they want. Go to the Big Cities in Éire and work an average industrial wage job and they'll soon realise how good they have it. Liars
Agree with you Kello Scully, biggest polluters of the environment also with their cattle sh1t and silage effluent and pesticides running into most water tables.
Machinery inflation is nearly 6% per annum , but finance plans help spread the cost of a new one over a few years. Like the way the car sales are done.

Some will survive but many won't.
If any other sector of society did this they would be beaten to a pulp by the Gardaí.
no they wouldnt and even if they wanted to what are they honestly gonna do to a 10 tonne tractor
Gardaí are resting up, for when the anti lockdowners come to wreck the place next week.
