- This building was originally the New Providence Baptist Church and built in the late 1800s. The lumber was hauled by wagon from the Bat Point Mill to the former site and built by members of the black congregation. In 1989, the church members donated it to the BVPA for restoration. Currently it houses the BVPA Village Museum and Gift Shop. The museum is open the first Saturday morning of each month and for special events, including educational and private tours. Admission is free but donations are always appreciated.
