- Watch the 4-part series Suburban Origins: Mumbai. A group of 30 friends from Seattle and Chicago travel to India to attend the wedding of Animish, an architect from Mumbai, and Emily, a biologist from Detroit. Having met in Seattle through an online personals ad, they consummate their marriage with a 2-week honeymoon road trip across India, bring along all the closest friends they have ever known. Their journey takes them from the upper middle class suburbs to the heart of the Mumbai slums, and from the great landmarks of Indian history to its most decadent party towns.

Proud of your thinking.lots of Indians who r in USA do not appreciate Americans. They complaint about discrimination and junk like that inspite of given so much opportunity. American are very open, hrlpful and welcoming. This is from who has lived in America for 48 years. It is sad lots of Indians in India make stupid unkind comments about Americans.
